The work of an electrician is a fascinating, but at the same time extremely demanding profession that presents us with new challenges every day. There is no room for routine in our industry - every day brings new problems to solve, from complex failures of electrical systems to precise installations in newly built facilities. Safety always comes first, which requires constant focus and attention to detail. Even the smallest mistake can have serious consequences, which is why precision and reliability in our work are so important. They often have to work in difficult conditions, such as limited space, work at heights or extreme temperatures, which requires not only technical skills but also physical endurance. Working as an electrician also means constant learning and improvement of your skills. Technologies and regulations are constantly changing, and we must stay up to date to ensure the highest standard of service and safety. Each project is an opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience, which makes our work extremely dynamic and developing. Despite all the difficulties, the satisfaction of solving a complicated problem and the awareness that our actions affect the safety and comfort of others rewards all the hardships. My journey into M&E began as an electrician. Working hands-on with tools instilled valuable skills that stay with you. It taught me to approach problem-solving by working backwards, to persevere until the job is complete, and to adapt as needed. This experience has given me a unique perspective - when I tackle projects and consider their practicality on-site, I draw from this background. How did you come to be in the world of M&E? #ElectricalBackground #MandE #Mechanical

Marine Electrical and Electronics Training: Powering the Future of Maritime Operations Marine Electrical and Electronics Training is essential for anyone pursuing a career in the maritime industry, particularly for those involved in maintaining and operating a vessel's electrical systems. With the increasing reliance on advanced electronics and automation in modern vessels, skilled professionals are more in demand than ever. My experience in the maritime sector has shown me how critical this training is to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of ships at sea. Marine electrical systems are the lifeblood of a vessel, powering everything from navigation equipment and communication systems to lighting and propulsion. The training covers various topics, including electrical power generation, distribution, motor controls, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems. This technical knowledge ensures that professionals can maintain, repair, and optimize these systems to prevent failures that could compromise the vessel’s operations or safety. The growing digitalization of the maritime industry has also increased the importance of marine electronics. Vessels today are equipped with advanced radar, sonar, communication systems, and automation technology, all of which require specialized knowledge to maintain and repair. Marine Electrical and Electronics Training equips professionals with the skills to understand and work with these systems, ensuring the smooth operation of ships in increasingly complex environments. A key trend in this field is the integration of greener, more energy-efficient technologies on ships. With stricter environmental regulations coming into force, the maritime industry is moving towards cleaner energy sources, including hybrid and electric propulsion systems. Professionals with up-to-date training in marine electrical systems are well-positioned to support this transition, ensuring vessels are compliant with environmental standards while maintaining operational efficiency. Reflecting on the importance of this training, it is clear that marine electrical and electronics technicians play a vital role in the maritime sector. Their expertise ensures that vessels remain operational, efficient, and safe, even in the most challenging conditions. For those considering a career in the maritime industry, investing in Marine Electrical and Electronics Training offers numerous opportunities to work on cutting-edge technology in a field that is constantly evolving. Feel free to reach out for further discussions or potential collaborations. Together, we can power the future of maritime operations through innovation and excellence. #Marine_Electrical_and_Electronics_Training #maritime_industry #Saleh_Bayagoob

Thirty-five years ago, I embarked on a vocational odyssey that began in the depths of marine mechanics. My journey saw a progression to marine electrician, followed by a specialization as a generator technician. This path was punctuated by a return to academia, where I pursued and achieved a diploma in electrical engineering, ultimately steering me towards a career in control systems engineering with CAT, Woodward & DEIF. Along this voyage, I encountered numerous challenges and crossed paths with skeptics. Yet, each obstacle served as a stepping stone, and the skepticism of others only fueled my resolve. My journey stands as a testament to the ethos: 'Be the architect of your own destiny, not a pawn in someone else's game' Engr. Daveed. Engineer to Technician 🛠️ After completing 5 years of degree & 3 years as an engineer, I turn into a technician. 😱 Of course the first impression will be seen as a step down, but I see it as a deeper dive into the core of engineering. I always have concern over the “hands-on” aspect and I made this jump to prove myself over it. Breaking the myth of “Engineer cuma baca buku” 📚 Before I take this decision I ask myself repeatedly on who is an engineer? Does the role or responsibility makes you an engineer? 🧐 NO. For me an engineer is a problem solver using correct analysis and ensure it is reliable. And that’s exactly what I’m going to try adapt into the technicians work culture. When I decided to do this transition, I faced many concerns and backlash. But I believe in stick to my plan till reach the goal 😉 I owe big time to Kausalya Tamalmani for advising me throughout this transition 🙏🏼 Nevertheless, I will keep on involving engineering into my work. Because… Once an engineer, always an engineer. 👷🏽♂️ Have you ever taken an unexpected career decision that is unusual and risky? Share your story! #Engineer #oilandgas #mechanical #technician #technical #careergrowth
