Salaam and Peace my collegues, If your work involves Muslim Mental Health, this is for you :) The 17th Muslim Mental Health Conference is coming back home to Michigan in 2025, and the deadline to submit conference abstracts is in *10 days* on Tuesday, October 15th! The year’s conference theme is centered on, "Building Resilience Through Resistance and Collective Care." In the face of numerous local and global challenges confronting our communities, the ideas of resistance and collective care have emerged as crucial avenues for building resilience. We are looking for researchers, clinicians, thought leaders and community workers to submit a short abstract of their work and efforts to present at the conference for an opportunity of co-learning. You can read the full Call for Abstracts here. Please note that we included another document in the call that lays out the specific requirements we have for abstracts.
