‘Flourishing’ scientifically denotes the ‘thriving’ of an individual. NIRMAN has prepared a first-of-its-kind ‘Flourishing Framework’ for the young individuals in India. A detailed session on ‘Flourishing’ was conducted today during the NIRMAN 15 – November 2024 Workshop. This ‘Flourishing Framework’, coupled with the ‘Flourishing Questionnaire’ will certainly help our young participants to chart their own ‘Flourishing Journey’. Problem: Roads in India getting clogged everytime it rains. Proposed Idea for a Solution: Can the roads be built with super absorbent material and all the water gets seeped in the tanks underneath roads. This water gets cleaned and then added to the city's underground water reservoir. Makes sense? Let's discuss. Cheers RudrakshaHub

This video tells the inspiring story of how a community in India transformed their lives by conserving water and creating peace. It shows how the indigenous people of the Ghas tribe used their local knowledge and skills to build small ponds that recharge the groundwater, provide water for life and livelihood, and restore dignity. It also highlights the remarkable transformation of water bandits, who shifted from violence to becoming water healers and peace advocates. Water brings the life to the world. Literally. It changes lives. It changes what you see, what you value, and how you live. It changes how you treat other life. It heals humans and all nature.

How to enhance Hisha of Padma? The origin of Padma from Nepal over India as Ganga enter Bangladesh and merged to sea in Bangladesh. Hilsa is an anadromus fish most of the time spent in coastal of Bay of Bengal, in the monsoon migrate to River Padma for spawning. It has unique behaviour as the place they spawn, after feeding migration to Bay for maturity it again return to the same place where they conduct spawning known as natal behaviour. Due to construction of Barrage, habitat destroy by sedimentation, use of destructive net for catching, Industrial pollution are reasons of depletion of Hilsa. My suggesation to keep clean the path of migration, open gate of barrage before and after spawning, Ban not to use detructive net, and like Bangladesh request neighbour to adpot two months banning period both in Bay of Bengal and migratory path of Rivers.
