#FirstQuarter2024 #RenewableSolarInstalledCapacity With an astounding 9.5 gigawatts (GW) of new solar capacity added in the first quarter of 2024 alone, India has ignited a new chapter in the story of renewable energy. An important step towards India's green energy future, this record-breaking accomplishment represents for 66% of the 15.2 GW of total power capacity introduced during this period. India's cumulative installed solar capacity reached 82.64 GW by the end of March 2024, accounting for 43% of all renewable energy capacity and 18.5% of the country's total installed power capacity.
