I would rate this workshops, of course, with an excellent grade if I would do that, especially because they're giving challenges. They're giving, they're challenging you to do and think differently. What we do a lot at schools nowadays, we listen, we take information in, we try to process it, we take exams, but. Different from that, this workshops are giving you challenged to do and think differently, which makes it the something else. By then I mean that if you are first of all, you're standing in front of somebody who you might not expect to be there and actually thinking that person is something I someone I would probably admire or look up to. It's already a challenge. Challenge to face person with practices, for instance. Somebody's telling you that you don't have to like everybody, but you have to practice. Dealing and respecting is something we don't do daily at school. We learned a lot at school, but the social skills are mainly about being around others and listening or reading tests or texts. And now you actually practicing something quite surprising and being challenged. And I think that is the greatest value in this workshop because at the same time when you are challenged, you will be given that. Seed inside you to grow. These kids are mostly around 1516 years old. They're not supposed to be acting as adults at this point. But I'm sure this workshop and the things that we have done there will come to your mind when you are challenged again. And there is the great value of all of this. My name is Nina Howard and Maria Amalia Rakis and I'm working at the Vessella Comprehensive School as principal for couple of years now. Already I have a long history at this school. Since 2007, actually the reason why I'm at the school and why I'm very interested in the workshop. We at the moment having here with Osis eyes because our children are living in a world that is rapidly changing every day and the world we are in is not always. The way we want it to be. And they are not ready in many ways to face their future as equal and as happy as we we would like them to. What we're really trying to achieve here through these workshops, at the moment we are concentrating on our 9th graders who are ready to fly out of the building and go to the new school where wisdom them to have abilities to face everything new around them very soon. And in general in life, when you move forward, I hope this diversity workshop program is giving them little seeds in their minds, in their hearts to realize how important it is. That we are all different, all the same at the same time. And when we meet new people and new situations in the world, we actually can cope with the situation and with the people. We don't have to love everybody, we don't have to deal with everything, but we need to have some basic skills to understand each other because basically we are all the same. We have so many same things inside us or in our lives, or we come from actually quite the same type of surroundings. Backgrounds or whatever and you don't realize that during the school day or even your work day or wherever you are. But when you start working on it and you realize that what we actually have most important in each of us is the power within us to understand and to create good. And that's what we wish all here today. And I think through this program to achieve with this youngsters to give them skills, abilities, understanding what it is to be. One and at the same time everybody. And to be able to cope with this world and like or not like, but to deal with everyone kindly, with respect, especially with respect. Hi, my name is Johanna Lehtonen and I'm a guidance counselor here in Besala Comprehensive School. I have been in this workshop with all my 9th graders. And it has been something different than what I'm used to. What I really liked is the how to students have taken in. What Mr. Osita has told them and ask questions a little bit pushed them out of their comfort zone. And but even though the students really have been like really into it and listened to him, he's very charismatic. And I'm waiting for the last part of this workshop to happen tomorrow. And I also what I what I would have recommend is that. To all of these 7 to 9 craters because we need people from different backgrounds. Friend. No. Experiences to come to school out of the school zone to tell us about life and talk about life, talk about the future, and we really need those people to come here. And Mr. Osita is the best fun one to do that, so I really recommend his workshop for all the 7 to 9 ninth graders. So my name is Rita Sarnen, I'm an A special education teacher here in Visalia Pero school and Mr. Fetzer has been teaching my class for a couple of hours. And my special kids have been very impressed by his presence and the way Osita teaches and he lives the way he teaches. And we have we are very grateful and it's it was a very nice experience. Thank you. My name is Heidi. Sarah and I work as a school social worker. He at vessel at Peru schools. I took parts in two or Seitas diversity classes just because I was told about them and the teachers. We're talking about these classes with very good emotions, so they kind of recommended those. And so he just seemed to see especially Osita. Enormous energy. How he he acts with the youngsters, how he participated them. And how he managed to get the students to take part. On the on the lecture. He gave. Lots of good perspectives and new perspectives for for the students. And. It seems that it seemed like the the students really like. They were thinking about the stuff they were taught, so it was not just one lecture among others, but actually one that made them think for themselves. So I can recommend these classes to to different schools in housing but also in how Finland. Thank you. My name is medically whatever I'm working as a study counselor here in the Salah comprehensive school and how we for God finished with his three times works of about diversity and I felt it it was very important for our students to have this experience before, especially at the time was very good before they are going into. And be able to school and they they are going forward to vocational schools and colleges. So this was good time to have it and. See uh. How to deal with conflict and how to deal with differences and how to better your communication. Even when you feel. Frustrated or angry or sad? How you can speak out? All this emotion in a kind way with etcetera, so. I felt especially when they did it in a. In classrooms, in a little crops, it ever worked very well. Terrorists dog like court confront tastes and beef within students When we did these practices to only problem was time. We should need much more time for that and I hope. Test. We can continue with this wraps up later and maybe. They could have a little more time.
