Reinforcement learning for multi robot cooperative transportation including impracticable tasks Shida, Toyota Frontier Research Center presented at the 11th control division multi Symposium (held by the Institute of automatic control and control, March 17-20). This paper proposes a multi robot system which would not stop even if an impossible task exists. Although this type of study tends to enter the shelf of technology in the future as "academic research", Toyota Frontier Research Center has operated a large scale robot operation at Toyota Memorial Hospital where more than 20 are operated 24 hours every day. We can use this field to train our research. Memorial Hospital is like a circuit of a race that trains us. For better mobility, evolution continues every day. https://lnkd.in/gjH_zwsa https://lnkd.in/gJjk5MhV

Our Yu 5 Industrial made its TV debut! As part of the series alpha Uni, the robotic arm was shown by the educational channel ARD Alpha. alpha Uni helps young students and graduates to peek into different professions and degree programs. This time, they delved into the robotics program at Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Kempten and shadowed one of its students. In this context, they also went to this year’s Makeathon. That’s where the protagonist Yusuf and our Yu 5 Industrial met. Within the given time, he and his team managed to use our robot to program a complex industrial task. If you would like to see our robots in action or learn more about the robotics degree program at Hochschule Kempten, watch the video below. Who is going to win worlds race for the best humanoid robot? I think it will not be the one with the best joints and motors but the company that masters these challenges best: 1️⃣ Train robot movements for the highest variation of tasks in the virtual world with synthetic data! 🥇 This will be likely the company that has the most money and/or best access to GPUs (like the race for the largest LLMs) 2️⃣ Monetize the early roll-out best! 🥇 This will be the company that provides the first competitive use case that can be sold to many customers (like #openAI with #ChatGPT) 3️⃣ Master production in scale for the robots in a factory at low cost! 🥇This will be the company with the highest backing of their home country, the best supplier network for the components and the best knowledge for mass production Which companies have the best chance to win?🏆 🏆🏆 Comment 👇👇👇 🇪🇺for #Neura, #1XNEO 🇺🇸for #AgilityRobotics, #Tesla, #Figure, #Apptronik, #BostonDynamics 🇨🇳for #Keppler, #Xiaomi, #Fourier, #Unitree
