Pivoting your business model is crucial, even in luxury!  Reportedly, the castle in Tura, Hungary will be operated as a luxury hotel by István Tiborcz (son-in-law of Hungarian PM Viktor Orban) for only a few more weeks. Apparently, some of the employees have been fired. The castle hotel was opened in 2020, but it has never been able to close a profitable year. The hotel, opened in the former Schossberger castle in Tura was the first of the Botaniq Collection brand, which brings together Tiborcz's luxury hotels and restaurants. The brand includes, among others, the Clarisse fine dining restaurant in the Tura castle, the Andrássy Kúria és Spa, the downtown Verno House, and the associated Flava restaurant.
