Why is «Sustainable» a core NorDan value? The answer is simple: Because it should be. Since its early beginnings in 1926, NorDan has built its business on sustainable principles. From the natural materials we transform into long-lasting and high-performing windows and doors to the responsibility we take to support our local communities and provide opportunities for growth within our companies. That's why we're also so proud of our sustainability strategy: To be an industry-leading company in sustainability, to reduce CO2 footprint by 50% in 2030 and to contribute to the green transition by offering the most sustainable windows and doors in the market. We engage the whole NorDan organisation as well as suppliers and customers in realising this strategy. #NorDanValues #valuespotlight #PerfektSamspill #Sustainable

We can’t tell you how proud we are to have contributed to the development of the Nordic Cities and GHG Emissions Reduction report, presented this week at #COP29. This report, shaped by over 500 voices (ours included!) from across academia, cities, and industries, highlights how the Nordic region is tackling urban sustainability. There's no doubt about it: smart urban planning is key to cutting emissions and improving how we live. However, there are challenges like finding a balance between growth and protecting the environment, upgrading old infrastructure, addressing misunderstandings about modular construction, and dealing with complicated rules and building codes. Our CSO Lina K Wiles, who’s one of the contributors to the report, says this: “Presented at COP29 in Baku this week, this report is an inspiring showcase of Nordic solutions for sustainable and resilient cities. I am so proud to have represented Adapteo Group in the workshops behind the report, contributing our insights on how adaptable, low-carbon solutions can address today’s urban challenges. We’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to share, learn, and connect with like-minded partners across the Nordics, shaping ideas that will drive sustainable cities for the future." Take a look at the report and let us know your thoughts! https://lnkd.in/dxE2w2Zc The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council

Hey all, have you ever imagined a future that's better for our planet? I'm talking about a world where we use regenerative practices to make our soil healthier, renewable energy to power our homes, and circular economies to turn waste into something valuable. People like Joel Salatin are already making this vision a reality. They are showing us that we can make a real difference when we combine innovation with sustainability. And the results are impressive: - Greenhouse gas emissions down by 30% - Water efficiency up by 25% - Productivity boosted by 20% And now, it's ours turn. Let's harness our collective energy to create better tomorrow. We can do this by working together, sharing ideas, and supporting each other. The power to shape our world is in ours hands.
