What a busy week full of events! 1️⃣ From May 13th to 15th, in Oslo, Norway will take place the AOC Europe Conference, the international event about Alliances and Collaboration in Supporting Multi-Domain Electromagnetic Warfare Operations.  Three days where organisations and individuals from government, defence, industry, and academia will be connected to promote the exchange of ideas and information and review the latest advances within the electromagnetic and information-related domains. Association of Old Crows 2️⃣ In the same dates, from May 14th to 16th in Sevilla, Spain the AeroSpace & Defense Meetings will be held: the matchmaking program for the aerospace & defense industries. Now in its seventh edition, the #A&DM2024 will focus on sustainable aviation, cybersecurity, advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and aerospace talent. These key topics reflect the ongoing challenges and opportunities facing the aerospace industry. One key takeaway from NATO’s TIE 2024 interoperability exercise? No single company can solve these challenges alone. If You have two minutes, then read these reflections from our participation in NATO's interoperability exercise ...Our RF detection systems provided critical early warnings, while advanced radar and visual systems completed the threat picture. Together, they highlighted the importance of interconnected solutions that empower defense teams to respond with precision and speed.  However, despite our robust capabilities, the Red Team demonstrated a tactical advantage, emphasizing the need for constant innovation and industry-wide improvement. As Jesper Blauendahl, Senior Software Engineer at MyDefence, explained:  “Early RF detection is essential—it is the only way we can react in time. This is where MyDefence makes a vital impact, leading the way in RF-based early warning systems.”

[SESAR Joint Undertaking Project] SESIOP Workshop 11-13 September 2024 Thales Hellas hosted a dedicated SESIOP workshop at the Tanagra Air Base in Athens, bringing together key air traffic management stakeholders. The event provided a great platform for networking and valuable discussions about #ATC in Greece and Europe. 👉 The SESIOP project (Single European Sky and Interoperability), with ENAC as a key partner, focuses on integrating military and civilian air traffic for enhanced efficiency, security, and safety.
