As much as I love the rhythm of my daily life—whether it's diving into work projects, running to the airports, attending international meetings or planning family dinners—there’s something about the transition back to routine after a summer break that always feels a bit daunting. But this year, I'm embracing it with a newfound enthusiasm. My summer was nothing short of spectacular! I had the privilege of exploring some truly awe-inspiring places: the rugged beauty of the Pyrenees, the sun-dappled shores of Costa Brava, and the vibrant culture of the Riviera Maya. Each destination offered its own unique charm and left me with memories that I’ll cherish for a long time. These experiences weren’t just a break from routine; they were a source of inspiration. They reminded me of the importance of balance and the power of stepping away to recharge. Now, as I return to my daily routine, I’m bringing with me not just memories, but also a renewed sense of purpose and creativity. I’m curious dear network —what’s fueling your motivation as you transition back to your routine? Whether it’s a recent experience, a book you’ve read, or simply the excitement of what’s to come, I’d love to hear about it! Let’s inspire each other as we tackle the rest of the year with passion and positivity. If you’re interested in hearing more about my travels or want some tips on these amazing destinations, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to share! #BackToRoutine #SummerAdventures #Inspiration #Motivation #WorkLifeBalance #CostaBrava #Pyrenees #RivieraMaya

Yerevan - London - LA - NY - LA - NY - LA - Yerevan My travel plans for just the first months of this year are crazy but also exciting since I am doing all of this because Lsaran is growing! The intensive travelling, with weekly changes in climate and time zones, makes my friends and colleagues question - how do I maintain productivity during trips? First of all, I left my main working schedule in Yerevan’s time zone because I still actively work there with Globbing. I changed the time slots for meetings accordingly so I can still sync with the teams in different countries at a time that is adequate for all of us. Also, I always try to plan trips closer to weekends so I have time to adapt and there are fewer events I need to reschedule. However, every move from one place to another brings a new challenge for me that I need to solve urgently. To be honest, it’s not always that easy. I already have one missed Zoom call on my account. But, as I always preach to the teams I work with, every mistake creates space for improvement. It seems like this crazy travelling with regular time zone changes will continue further this year. What’s the craziest work-travel schedule you’ve ever had, and how did you manage it? Give me the exact destination and tell me how did you survive 😀 #timemanagement #worklifebalance

Celebrating National Smile Month! 😁 Nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than doing what I love most - traveling! 🗺️✨ (This was me last week!) This picture perfectly captures the joy and freedom I feel when I'm exploring new places, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures. Travelling allows me to take a step back from the day-to-day grind, gain much-needed perspective, and evaluate what's truly important in life. It makes me ponder: Do you live to work, or work to live? If it's the latter, what steps are you taking to ensure a better work-life balance? For me, travel is not just an escape, but a vital part of my journey towards a fulfilling life. It's about finding joy, seeking adventure, and creating lasting memories. So, here's to smiling more, living fully, and making every moment count! 🌍😊

Travelling as a workawayer can be incredible, but if you want to make the most out of your experience, you’ll need to think about what kind of help you realistically can — and want — to offer before taking the leap. If you’re used to a 9-5 office job for instance, living out at sea on a ship could be a shock to the system. Likewise, you’ve never been around animals or experienced rural living, then workawaying on a farm could potentially be overwhelming too. You don’t necessarily need experience, but with enough preparation and an open mindset, this way of travel is the best way to grow as you get to discover new skills and interests while making a difference! For those who are up for an adventure of a lifetime, here’s some of our honest tips on how to figure out if Workaway is right for you: https://lnkd.in/gDX4KRja

Do you think site visits are necessary when taking an expat role? 50% said not necessary but beneficial 40% said they are essential 10% not necessary The take aways from the comments and messages I received was that for a relocation to country it was essential. Doing a site visit first allows you to get a feel for the place and company, and to also make sure it is suitable for the family and your lifestyle. What do you think?

What are your musts for the perfect place to live? Have you ever done this exercise? I created a list of all of the aspects of my dream location and community. It not only helps me know what I am looking for but it helps me create it too. Here is mine: Fertile soil! As a former farm-hand, I love to grow my own food. 20 miles from the beach, 50 miles from the mountains. I want to be able to surf and swim and escape to a high-altitude retreat when I need to decompress. 100,000 people or less. I do love cities because they overflow with art and culture but my nervous system feels most regulated when I am not packed in with millions of humans. 1-hour from a big city. I want to be able to take a train into the city for shows, restaurants, and shopping. Train access. My favorite way to travel and environmentally friendly too. 1-hour from an international airport. Again I love to travel and being close to a reputable airport means its not a massive journey just to take a journey. Spiritual focus. I am a very spiritual man and I like to be connected to like-minded people who I can speak to, connect with in depth, and enjoy different spiritual events. Sunshine. I am from the desert, I don’t do grey for long periods of time. Get me close to the equator. Progressive ideologies. I am weird and I want to live and let live, and fly my freak flag high. Now I don’t always get all of my needs met but here some of the locations I lived and visited that meet these my standards: Good local food culure. I don’t need Michelin star restaurants but I do need a place with delicious local cuisine. Ericeira, Portugal Costa De Caporeica, Portugal Granada, Spain Flagstaff, Arizona Bacalar, Mexico Hanalei, Hawaii Fethiye, Turkey Santa Teresa, Costa Rica Munduk, Indonesia Austin, Texas San Marco de la Laguna, Guatemala Marin, California Maui, Hawaii Sayulita, Mexico Oaxaca, Mexico … What makes your ideal location? #remotework
