🌱 Is your company ready for the new era of sustainability reporting? 🌍 The European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) are here to transform how we disclose environmental, social, and governance (ESG) information. Under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), companies must now provide comprehensive insights into their impacts, risks, and opportunities. Key Highlights of ESRS: 🌱 Double Materiality: Assess both impact materiality (effects on people/environment) and financial materiality (effects on the company). 🌱 Value Chain Considerations: Include upstream and downstream impacts. 🌱 Governance and Strategy: Reflect sustainability in governance structures and strategic planning. 🌱 Metrics and Targets: Set and disclose clear sustainability metrics and targets. By embracing ESRS, your company can: 🌱 Enhance transparency and stakeholder trust. 🌱 Align with global sustainability goals. 🌱 Drive long-term value creation. Are you prepared for this transition? Implementing ESRS requires a thorough materiality assessment, robust data collection, and a strategic approach to sustainability and we are here to help. Did you ever ask yourself why #ESG reporting is so important? To monitor and understand the impact of a business’s activity, the #environmental, #social and #governmental scopes of the ESG concept are a great tool to understand the degree of #sustainability of a company and its activities. Looking at the #KPI’s along the supply chain, narrowly defined metrics project the environmental impact such as “Carbon emissions per unit of production” This type of reporting is becoming increasingly important as stakeholders and more specifically investors are more and more interested in in the sustainable activities of a company. One of the sustainability reporting directive institutions, the #CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) is establishing and adapting these measurement features. Check out this image of the different aspects of each sustainability sections!
