Check out this cool new drone footage from Caltrans of the construction progress for the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing! The deck is coming along and we'll likely have soil on the crossing by the end of the year. This truly is the "world's most hopeful construction project."

Beth Pratt have you looked at the addition of forest derived biochar into the pending soil mix. This addion will aid in keeping sol moisture elevated in the thin sod, enticing animals to cross with green forage.

I am happy to see this is being constructed while I am retired. It was one of the favorite projects assigned to my office in Caltrans.
