Planting the seeds of your intentions 🌱 To do those practice it is helpful to find a quiet space to sit or lie down. Take a minute to focus on your breathing - count your breaths in and out. Now imagine that you are walking into a garden. Hear the birds, notice the flowers and the trees. There is a bag of seeds in your hand. These are the seeds of your intentions, your hopes and goals. Kneel down and begin to plant the seeds in the warm soil. Water them and bless them for containing everything they need to grow and fulfil their potential. Sit in the garden for a moment before bringing your attention slowly back to your breathing. Count your breaths in and out and then open your eyes. Return to your garden for five minutes each morning to water your seeds and watch them grow. Day 66 – old oak, young oak When did you last blossom? Spring comes a little later than I am used to in Sweden, and it seems to delay delay delay then explode, blossoms everywhere, fragile neon green leaves, radiant light… And, as I myself get older, I notice something touching and extraordinary: Even the oldest, grandest, most majestic oak tree is overtaken by the newness of the tiny fresh leaves. The sight of an old oak allowing itself to be cloaked in the same fluttering, tender green of the young oaks moves me. It seems so vulnerable, so almost-incompatible with its age. On my walks through the park, I ponder: How rarely do we older human being oaks allow ourselves the full exuberant vulnerability of a personal spring. And how can I be brave to let renewal overtake me? Reflect: * Where might the vulnerability of newness be causing you to resist a personal spring? Experiment: * Today, allow yourself to be a beginner.  Ask for help.  Learn something new.  Enter into the interests of others and let them enlighten you.  Reconnect with a place of abandoned creativity. Tips -       Spring feels vulnerable because it is vulnerable; protect newness from frosts and pests  -       There are no later harvests without the risks of spring -       It might be a little daunting but the exhilaration of spring is thrilling… #microballroom #toromiroliving  #leadership #personaldevelopment #transformation
