Ministry can be some of the loneliest times — but it can also be some of the best times. Ladies, here are 5 helpful ways to build community with the ministry wives in your area: 1. Find out what the needs are and meet those. Have a conversation with them to see what they need. It might be teaching on how to reconnect with Jesus, how to be more effective in personal ministry, or something else entirely. 2. Have lots of “get to know you” activities. Ministry wives are busy and might not be able to make every gathering. So, be intentional with your time and think of meaningful questions that will foster authentic conversations beforehand. 3. Get out of their normal environment. Sometimes, it can be tempting to hold an event at a church, but attendees may not be able to relax in that environment. Consider going to a park or coffee shop or renting a home for a fun retreat. 4. Consider teaching them a skill. Finances can be difficult for ministry families. Helping women develop a skill they could potentially use as a side hustle is a great way to foster community and empower them. 5. Rejoice Together. It can be easy to talk about what is hard, but it is just as important to celebrate what God is doing through your different ministries! | #BetterTogether

How do you involve youth within the larger church community? Creating real connections between people of all ages is difficult. But making space for adults to share their stories with young people, and vice versa, can help young people feel like they belong with God’s people. Connect with another ministry in your church and invite them to one of your youth nights to talk about a topic together! If you’re here, you’re likely feeling that mix of exhaustion and hope—wondering if Parent Reunification could be the answer. Maybe you don’t fully trust the process yet or even understand what it really involves, but you’re desperate for something to finally change. I get it. And it’s okay to have doubts. The truth is, many parents silently hope the first 15 hours will be enough to fix everything, but real, lasting change takes more time. It can feel like a big ask, but think about the alternative—spending thousands more in court, waiting months or even a year, just to end up with a ruling you might not even like. That’s a lot of power to put in someone else’s hands. Instead, imagine investing that time into truly reconnecting with your child and building a healthier dynamic. If it means hearing their voice again and genuinely moving forward, it’s worth it. When you're ready, I’m here to help you take that step. Let’s connect and craft a customized plan that works for you! Happy Universal Children's Day! 🎉 One hundred years ago, leaders from more than 50 countries gathered in Geneva, Switzerland. Their purpose: to protect the next generation after the horrors of the First World War. One woman, Eglantyne Jebb, realised that all children needed special protection and together with a group of specialists, Eglantyne wrote a set of principles to support children who had lived through the war. These principles became the Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child. The declaration begins by saying, “Humanity owes to the child the best it has to give”. In 1989, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child defined these rights. Countries that ratify the convention enter a legally binding international agreement, which sets out the rights of a child regardless of race, nationality or abilities. Today, 196 countries have ratified the convention. Today is an important day for Compassion: a chance to reflect on the crucial, life-giving rights that belong to all children, and to renew our commitment to fulfil them in Jesus’ name. Read our blog to unpack 11 rights of the child that Compassion projects around the world are able to fulfil each week https://bit.ly/4fRL1CD

Is it fair to charge Extra for the tools that people with disabilities need to live Independently? 🤔💸♿ To truly create an inclusive world, we should first work on removing GST and other Taxes on essential items like Wheelchairs and other assistive devices. Making these necessary tools more affordable is a critical step towards empowering people with disabilities. It is unfair have to pay Extra, Just because they are disabled and they need those assistance devices to live like others.

There is a marked difference between the judiciary and the government in dealing with disabled persons. I have several writ petitions in Delhi High Court seeking implementation of provisions of “Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”. My experience has been that the government would try to find ways to avoid such implementation or at least to drag it out to the utmost extent. Whereas, the judges would be impressively proactive in getting to see that the assistance and facilities provided under the law for disabled persons get implemented when brought to their notice. #disability #ministryofsocialjustice #government #disabilities #court #judge #law #judiciary
