📊 Open Budget Survey 2023: 4 Key Takeaways 📈 👍 Global budget transparency has increased by 24% since 2008. 🔍 Only 11% of assessed countries include a projection of financial sustainability in their Executive Budget Proposal that covers at least 10 years. 👥 5.6 billion people live in countries that offer one or more opportunities for public engagement in the budget process. ⚠️ Less than 1/3 of line ministries invite people's input into sector budgets. November Poll Results are in. According to those polled: 🛍️ 48% do not create a Holiday Budget. 🎁 24% try setting a holiday budget but never fully follow through. 🎄 19% set a budget every year and stick to it! 💳 9% are going to try to set a budget this year for the first time.
