The Power of Strategic Supplier Relationships Wow, what a session! Yesterday, Maersk, our valued freight partner, hosted our Quarterly Business Review (QBR). It’s so pleasing to see such ongoing progress at these sessions, it really is testament to the team’s hard work, approach to continued improvement and the engagement in driving the Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program with Maersk that continues to drive exceptional results. Some exciting things to update on over the next couple of months, especially on the sustainability initiatives being worked on across the teams on both sides. After the session I was reflecting on how well the collaboration across the teams has evolved; a massive thank you and well done from Jonathan Bridle and I to Kim Hotson, Sue Palmer and Ed Bremner, as well as the Maersk management team, for creating a relationship that goes beyond transactional interactions. The QBR reinforced my belief in the value of nurturing strategic supplier relationships, by aligning our goals and maintaining open communication.
