🌌 Quindar is set to revolutionize space mission planning with a $1,248,737 award from the United States Department of Defense, through the United States Department of the Air Force. Their project involves creating a common framework for spacecraft mission planning, deconfliction, and optimization. This effort is part of the Small Business Innovation Research Program Phase II, emphasizing applied research. Since 1958, with the passive communication satellite put into orbit through Project West Ford, MIT Lincoln Laboratory has made monumental achievements in exploiting space for reliable long-range radio-frequency (RF) connectivity. Eight LES and adaptive satellite antennas were developed from 1963 through 1980 to address military needs for reliable, long-range connectivity.
