More of an obligation than an honour. Don't get me wrong, I am absolutely chuffed to have made it onto the list, and I am very thankful for everyone who voted on ROCCO. However, this recognition as someone of some influence comes with a weight. You can't play on the sidelines or sit on the fence. Your words carry and thus must be used with care to help advance this industry. I urge everyone on the list and outside of it to educate, challenge, and speak their minds. The more knowledgeable the industry and the customers are, the better off we'll all end up being. What do you use your voice and audience for? #businessmessaging #IamROCCO100

I rarely post personal updates on here but this one is special. Earlier this year I decided to enrol myself on a 4 month coaching programme called Courage to Soar. The goal was simple: learn how to show up powerfully and be loyal to my dreams, instead of my fears. Over the course of 4 months, thanks to Farah Ismail and her team I’ve had the chance to meet the most amazing community, be part of some eye opening master classes and dive deeper into Tara Mohr’s principles of ‘Playing Big’🤩 Here are some takeaways and aha’s I had: 🚀 ‘Be loyal to your dreams, not your fears’: a sentence you’ll come across often if you’re familiar with the playing big book, but one that really spoke to me because so often I have let fear control my decisions 🚀 Recognise your inner critic and add humour to it. Like many others, I’m well acquainted with my inner critic, always showing up when at the brink of my comfort zone, to rationalise why I shouldn’t step up or why I’m not ‘good enough’. I’ve learnt that recognising it and perhaps even adding humour by personifying is always a useful tool to separate myself (and what I truly want) from the critic. 🚀 Be my word. If I commit to doing something, make sure I’m staying true to it and getting it done with integrity. This one might seem simple, but I have surprised myself with the number of times I have wanted to back down from something I intended to do. Staying true to my word is now something I value deeply and try to do both in my work and relationships 🚀 Have an accountability partner. Regardless of your goal, I’ve learnt that having someone to share it with and hold you accountable is a crucial ingredient to achieving it. My accountability partners have been the courage to soar community and I’m super grateful to have been a part of it. #coaching #playingbig #leadership
It’s all happening right here, right now. I’m incredibly honored to announce that Ruben Gonzalez ❄️, Marcia Reynolds, PsyD, MCC, and Alok Appadurai, have graciously accepted to join in as our special guest speakers on Courage to Soar - The Journey to Playing Big. Over the last few years, I have been in very transformational spaces and what has touched me deeply is ways we can serve and astound our clients. In the spirit of that, I have been inspired to do just that! Watch this space to get to know our guests better and what to expect when you were ALL IN!

When Diana and I founded Suade, drawing upon our backgrounds in financial services, we recognised the impending wave of regulatory changes in the industry. It quickly became evident to us that there had to be a more effective way to navigate and assimilate the vast amount of regulatory information. Our response to this challenge was rooted in embracing innovative technologies. We adopted approaches like NLP, diverse algorithmic strategies, machine learning, AI, and a modular, building-block mindset, steering away from the traditional manual methods of dealing with regulations. However, this journey is not merely about technology; it's about bringing personalised and revolutionary change to an industry that demands efficiency and intelligence. So since you've made it through this post 😁 why not find out more about how Suade Labs can lead your regulatory transformation: https://lnkd.in/eswF58G9
Tune in to hear Diana Paredes, Founder and CEO, share the inspiring story behind the company's founding in 2014.

Well that will be us up there on the short list for best integrated campaign 👊 from the world renowned and prestigious The Drum Awards As part of our marketing transformation, 12 months ago we set ourselves an ambition to get some marketing swagger (aka a hefty gold embellishment for our newly installed and ambitiously big trophy cabinet). Not for the party (don’t get me wrong we like a party) but as recognition from industry gurus, creative pundits, marketing maestros that our work is as good as our customers (and our stats) say. Team… whether we win or not on the night it doesn’t matter. What matters is we are on our way and this recognition is the fuel we need for our onward journey. But for now “Cheers to us all’ 👏 #HiveHeros #WeveGotYourBack #BrilliantWork #MarketingSwagger

With all the uncertainty in the world and markets, a fighter pilot’s agility mindset and tools can help you and your teams navigate turbulence and thrive. Maria Summers, so awesome to hear you were impacted by my keynote last week! What ideas are you going to implement in your life and team to have more of an agility mindset?
While we were at the IDN Summit & Reverse Expo last week, my team and I had the opportunity to listen to a fantastic keynote session by Martha McSally. We are fired up and ready to apply her approach to further developing an agility mindset in our day-to-day! It was also pretty cool to snag a photo with her! Thanks, Martha! Always great to connect with today's gen and the next one too! We talked about the consultation process, best practices, challenges within, and what do you do when you realize by the end of a consult -' This will be a nightmare client or I can see we won't be a good fit." even when the client may have a decent case! I advised that I'm pretty blunt and say 'I don't think I can give you what you need, or I don't think we will be a good fit." There was kind of a horrified silence and somebody spoke up to say, those words, may not work in some cultures and you'd have to find a different way to say that you can't take the case on. I'm wondering what do you say to potential clients when you realize that you don't want the case in the end? Thanks to Neerja Bhandari and Amal Miranda for leading the discussion.
A heartfelt thank you to the attendees and industry experts who made yesterday's CAPIC Café possible! Monica OBrien, Amal Miranda and Neerja Bhandari, your insights left a lasting impact on the attendees. We deeply value your time, expertise and the knowledge you shared!
