We had an incredible time at our Northwestern Mutual – Downtown Milwaukee Holiday Soiree. The evening was filled with laughter, delicious food, and great company as we celebrated the season and reflected on a fantastic year.
Thank you to all our leaders, advisors and teammates who came out and made this night so special. Here’s to many more celebrations and successes together.
Did you know that in Texas, it's all about BBQ turkey? Or that in Massachusetts, the cranberry harvest takes center stage? From deep-fried dishes to football feasts, may you enjoy every one of your unique traditions with those who make you feel most grateful... and most "at home."
Happy Thanksgiving from Weichert Corporate Housing.

Helping Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Government Agencies plan and execute memorable events & workshops that appear flawless. Founder and CEO of Shana Bryant Consulting a event planning and management agency.
2017 is when it all started and Shana Bryant Consulting was created. Imagine bidding on a contract in Martha's Vineyard and you never done this before. If you don't believe in yourself no one will. One of the best things about entrepreneurship is there will always be something new, something you've never done before, that pushes you to say yes. Saying yes without knowing exactly what your getting yourself into is where growth and confidence in your abilities come together. What you do know is you have the resources, network and fortitude to figure it out!!

This month, we're celebrating eight years of amazing events and fantastic collaborations at Shana Bryant Consulting. We're going to be looking back at some of our favorite moments, and we thought we start with Shana's first collaboration with Sheena Collier back in 2017. It was "The House on the Vineyard" weekend held by The Greater Boston Morehouse College Alumni Association, and the event featured an amazing list of attendees. We're looking forward to sharing memories with you as we celebrate! #CelebratingEightYears#SBC8#WorkAnniversary

Working in #Tech &. #SaaS for nearly a decade taught me quite a bit....
...a few of the biggest lessons
✅ Build a customer-centric culture
✅ Establish high-standards and hire a team that embraces them
✅ Correctly manage customer expectations at all stages of the customer journey
Think about these 3 things, execute accordingly, and create customers that are:

An absolute honor to have our flagship location in our hometown included in The New York Times 36 Hours in Portland, Maine amongst so many other amazing businesses! Thanks to our team at Portland Pier for being ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It was a great day at the great place! My team and I had the privilege of attending Texas A&M's Staff Enrichment Day for the Division of Finance and Business Services which included three topics of interest: Wellness, Managing the Madness, and Taking the Lead (even without the title). Here are my top takeaways that I hope you can also apply to your daily life:
1. The greatest leaders are often the greatest public servants.
2. Equitable workload does not always mean equal workload.
3. There is no success in the workplace that can make up for failure in the home.
After a packed Thanksgiving weekend, I’ve been thinking about family, business, and what it means to do work that matters.
I spent the holiday weekend in Michigan with family, celebrating our baby boy’s arrival with a baby shower and enjoying some quality time with my wife and daughter. It was a reminder of what’s most important—and why I’m so driven to build something meaningful in both my life and business.
In my work, I’ve learned that the best partnerships come from shared values. The clients I work with care deeply about their businesses, their teams, and their communities. They’re not just looking for quick wins—they want to build something that lasts. That’s why I’m so selective about who I work with. If you’re not passionate about what you do, I can’t help you take it to the next level.
For me, it’s not just about leads or revenue. It’s about creating systems and strategies that help businesses scale while staying true to their values. It’s about making an impact—not just for the business owner, but for their families, employees, and the community they serve. This applies to both my own business helping roofers, HVAC, and other contractors grow - and also in my veterinary pharmacy career, helping pets and their parents stay safe, happy, and healthy.
That’s what keeps me motivated—working with great people to build something we’re all proud of.
So what I'd love to hear from you is: What’s driving you right now? What vision are you working toward in your business and life?

Creating Meaningful Traditions: Lessons from Cheese Rolling in Gloucestershire
As 2025 approaches, I’ve been remembering the quirky yet deeply meaningful traditions that bring us together. One of my favorites? The annual cheese rolling event on Cooper’s Hill in Brockworth, Gloucestershire—a stone’s throw from where I used to live in the UK.
Picture this: competitors chasing a 9lb wheel of Double Gloucester cheese down a steep, uneven hill. It’s wacky, chaotic, and a little dangerous, yet it brings people together for laughter, fitness, and connection. What may look like sheer madness to an outsider is, at its heart, a celebration of tradition, resilience, and community.
While we might not all want to tumble down a hill in pursuit of a wheel of cheese, the sentiment behind it offers something to leaders and teams:
1. Create rituals that matter.
Whether it’s a daily check-in, a celebratory gathering, or an offbeat team-building tradition, meaningful rituals foster connection and joy.
2. Lean into shared experiences.
Much like the cheese chasers, we thrive when we step into something bigger than ourselves—be it meeting new people, trying something new, or honoring those who’ve come before us.
3. Support each other through the tumble.
Life, like cheese rolling, isn’t always smooth. Our traditions and connections help us stay upright—or help us laugh when we fall.
As we close out this year, I want to thank my clients, colleagues, and friends —dedicated public servants, nonprofit leaders, and private-sector professionals— for your trust and commitment. You model caring, perseverance, curiosity, and willingness to embrace change.
Here’s to a 2025 filled with unique traditions, shared laughter, and the occasional tumble that leads to something extraordinary.
