Why Give to 95 Counties -Building a database to help track and assist American Descendant populations when it comes to health outcomes, education, wages, and more! -Creating preservation and restoration plans for historical property and assets throughout the state of Tennessee left by formerly enslaved to their descendants. -Ensuring legal issues are not a hindrance to maintaining assets and ensuring they stay in a Descendants family for generations to come. -Housing our American Descendant Family Center and continuing to do genealogy research to help find enslaved ancestors and name them. -Ensuring our Descendants stay connected to high networking spaces building a continuous funnel to spaces not often populated by Descendant populations, including full funding for our Job Shadowing Day for our Descendant high schoolers in Tennessee. -Ensuring grieving support is deployed in high-death areas in Descendant communities, increasing the awareness and value of Black American Descendant life and the impact death has had on this community. However, most other offenses can be considered with the right context. ✅ Willingness for Change: A critical requirement is the mother's genuine desire to change. Without this commitment, we run the risk of being just another housing program, which we strive not to be. Our process is inclusive and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, national origin, or religious preference. There are nine days left until Christmas and the holiday season is a powerful reminder that the most meaningful gifts often require sacrifice. True generosity isn’t about the size of the gift but the willingness to put others’ needs and happiness ahead of our own. I regularly donate to causes that make a direct impact in the lives of the less fortunate. Loaves and Fishes in Clarksville, TN is a organization that feeds the homeless of our community. It’s a organization open everyday except Sunday throughout the entire year. There is no judgement, no questions, just food and space. Citizens, businesses, volunteers, and church organizations sacrifice their supplies, time, and money to keep this place buzzing. In our professional lives, we have daily opportunities to embrace this mindset. It could be offering mentorship or support to a colleague by sharing your expertise or simply being present for someone who needs encouragement. These moments of sacrificial generosity, when we set aside our own priorities to help others, strengthen connections and foster trust in our teams.
