At its peak in 1920, the railroad industry had more than 11,500 miles of track in the state of Pennsylvania. Today, around 5,900 miles of active track exists. 🔶 Il Futuro della Manutenzione Stradale 🔶 Di recente, durante un viaggio in autostrada, ho incontrato numerosi restringimenti e cambi di carreggiata dovuti a lavori di manutenzione. Si, ho percorso la Salerno - Reggio Calabria, ma non solo. Queste situazioni, oltre a causare evidenti disagi per gli automobilisti, rappresentano anche un pericolo, oltre ad un notevole costo e impegno. Ma cosa succederebbe se potessimo adottare tecnologie come un ponte mobile o quelle di monitoraggio intelligente? Le tecnologie di monitoraggio stradale, come sensori e sistemi di raccolta dati in tempo reale, sono già una realtà in molte infrastrutture avanzate. Questi sistemi permettono di monitorare costantemente le condizioni del manto stradale, rilevando tempestivamente crepe, buche e altri segni di deterioramento. Adottare queste tecnologie su larga scala potrebbe rivoluzionare la manutenzione stradale, riducendo i disagi per gli automobilisti e ottimizzando i costi di intervento. Questo approccio predittivo non solo migliora la sicurezza stradale, ma assicura anche una maggiore durata delle infrastrutture.
