Another year and another happy birthday to MoreThanNow – it’s hard to believe, but we’re 8 years old this week! I always get a bit of a lump in my throat when it comes around. The founding idea was simple – to bring science to the workplace – and in many ways it’s the most obvious idea in the world: Every day, we conduct millions of 1:1 meetings, ask millions of people to set goals, evaluate millions of people’s performance and job suitability, run millions of team meetings. But how much do we know about how to improve experiences like these? Not as much as we should given their huge influence on our working lives. MoreThanNow's job is to change this one hypothesis and one experiment at a time, collaborating with academic teams at every opportunity. For me, it’s a big enough mission for a lifetime’s work :) As another anniversary comes by, please join me in celebrating our wonderful team, our amazing academic collaborators, our pioneering partners, and everyone who supports and advocates for us along the way. Big day for VitaeLab today,- we happily congratulate on entering Austria! We are thrilled to announce the official launch of VitaeLab in Austria! This marks VitaeLab's first new market entry in 5 years, representing an important milestone for NutraQ as they expand their presence into the 13th country. The experience in new market entries at NutraQ continues to grow, and we are proud to share some of their valuable insights and here are some of the key learnings: 🚀 Strategic project planning: By planning timelines and stages, including administrative processes like legal structures and compliance, we ensure smooth involvement of all stakeholders. Establishing our entity in Austria during market research was instrumental in maintaining our original timeline. Optimized resource allocation: Conducting interviews with each department involved in the project during the planning phase ensures that all deliverables align with our set timeline. 🚀 Successful Go-Live date: By having a steadfast commitment to the timeline, coupled with active involvement from our Marketing department from start to finish, we successfully met the project deadline. 🚀 Enhanced communication and coordination: Implementing more frequent status meetings in the project's final stages facilitated better information flow and streamlined operational setups. 🚀 Continuous improvement (Kaizen): Learning from past experiences, including feedback from previous market entry projects in NutraQ, drives our commitment to continuous improvement. I joined Covatic last summer (2023) and I've been working here for about 8 months now. What do you most enjoy about your role? 👉 I work at the beginning and end of the software development lifecycle: defining product goals, scoping requirements, communicating those to our development teams, and ensuring the output of their hard work matches user expectations. My favourite part of my job is customer discovery, which involves digging into our users' world, understanding their goals, motivations, workflows, and pain points to develop a product that solves their problems and that they love! Which Covatic values and behaviours do you align with the most? 👉 🌟 Collaborative & Trustworthy: My position is inherently collaborative as I gather input from many teams (sales, engineering, data science etc.) to develop products and features for our users.
