On 20.02.2024❄, the second national working meeting took place within the PeaceEdu🕊 international research project. The meeting was attended by representatives from all 3 institutions involved in the project (State University🎓 of Moldova🇲🇩, Coordinator Valentina Teosa; State Pedagogical University🎓 "Ion Creangă", Coordinator Angela Solcan; Innovation and Development Agency from Transnistria, Coordinator Vlada Lisenco) and general-administrative aspects related to the organization of events, project implementation, information, dissemination and visibility were discussed. Special attention during the discussions was given to the needs of the research framework in the Republic of Moldova in the field of peace🕊, as well as the consultations in order to establish the difference between the concepts of peace education and peace studies. Certain issues discussed touched on the specification of the role of the NGO partner in the project. The PeaceEdu project is developed within the European Union🇪🇺 Erasmus+ Program for education, training, youth and sport in Europe and includes partners from Finland, Germany, Austria, Georgia, Ukraine. The duration of the project is 3 years, and the goal is to promote sustainable peace practices in Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova by strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions🎓 in these countries to invest in the development of multidisciplinary education for peace.🕊 #PeaceEdu #Erasmus+ #centerforpeacestudiesdri #USM #FRISPA

🎓🇪🇺 As a member of Una Europa, the University of Zurich is shaping the future of international education: In a recent interview by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (Staatssekretariat für Bildung, Forschung und Innovation SBFI), Annika Martin from UZH's Teaching Development Office shared valuable insights on UZH's participation in the ED-AFFICHE pilot project. This initiative, involving 51 higher education institutions across 22 countries, aims to introduce a joint European Degree label. In collaboration with the participating European universities, this project uses the rise of joint study programs to create integrated curricula across multiple universities. Hereby, it aims to create a Europe-wide recognized qualification that significantly enriches higher education, complements existing programs and underlines international competencies. Improving #MSCA participation in Latin America and the Caribbean (#LAC): Our online event addressed the challenges & the need to support MSCA National Contact Points (#NCP) in effectively disseminating information about MSCA. The discussion primarily focused on expanding the scope and increasing participation in MSCA opportunities within LAC. Participants identified potential synergies for collaboration between MSCA and other #EU programmes and projects. They also emphasized the need for enhanced training, increased resources for NCPs, and a higher number of multipliers for MSCA. The call for greater cooperation among NCPs, EURAXESS, MSCA-NET Net, and Marie Curie Alumni Association was made to foster better synergies. The participants highlighted the importance of improving communication channels among NCPs and stressed that strategic promotional activities are crucial for informing universities and research institutions in LAC about participating in MSCA. Furthermore, it was underscored that more MSCA NCPs should engage with universities and research institutions in LAC to further enhance participation.

ENIC-NARIC Networks Resources The ENIC-NARIC Networks are the result of an ongoing collaboration between the national information centres on academic recognition of qualifications of in total 55 countries, which are operating under the principles of the Lisbon Recognition Convention (1997). The joint website of the ENIC (European Network of Information Centres) and NARIC (National Academic Recognition Information Centres in the European Union) Networks is an initiative to enhance navigation to relevant online resources. This website aims to help interested organisations and individuals find information on current issues in international academic and professional mobility, and on procedures for the recognition of foreign qualifications, and to support ENIC-NARIC member organisations, directing them to up-to-date information supplied and maintained by the competent bodies in each member country.
