🚆IronLev, a technology company that recently made history with the successful pilot run of the world's first magnetic levitation train 🎉
On March 12th, 2024, IronLev achieved a significant milestone as their magnetic levitation train embarked on a test run along the Adria-Mestre route in Italy. What sets this achievement apart is not only the technological feat itself but also the fact that the train operated autonomously, without the need for an in-person driver, on an existing track. 🚄💨
This remarkable test run not only demonstrates the capability of magnetic levitation #maglev technology but also its potential to revolutionize the future of #mobility . By utilizing existing railway lines, IronLev's innovation opens doors to enhancing public transportation and goods transport systems. With reduced noise and vibration, magnetic levitation trains offer a glimpse into a more sustainable and efficient transportation landscape. 🌍💼
As we celebrate this achievement, it's crucial to recognize the broader implications of magnetic levitation trains. They represent a shift towards cleaner and more advanced transportation solutions, aligning with global efforts to combat #climatechange and reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, they hold the promise of faster travel times and increased reliability, ultimately improving connectivity and accessibility for communities worldwide. 🌐✨
Congratulations to the team at IronLev for their groundbreaking accomplishment! This milestone underscores the importance of continued innovation in transportation technology and paves the way for a brighter, more sustainable future of mobility. Let's continue to support and invest in advancements that drive us towards a more efficient, connected, and environmentally conscious world. 🌟🚀 #IronLev#MagneticLevitation#TransportationInnovation#SustainableMobility#FutureOfTransportation#futuremobility#innovationindesign#transportationdesign#mobilitysolutions#mobilityinnovationhttps://lnkd.in/eszNx_Hr
Ship Performance is essential for decarbonisation, so that propulsion plant must be in Tip-Top condition.
For identification of which propulsion plant component in need of attention one must know, not only the engine eficiency but propeller and hull efficiencies too.
By using OptiPower, all those efficiencies are segregated and you know where to pay attention without delay.
Do like the best at Antarctica, do like Mystic Cruises, all their vessels are monitored using BOEM and OptiPower TecnoVeritas – Services of Engineering and Systems Technology.
20 years of experience and development, of customised Shaft Power & Thrust meters!

As the first all-electric, battery-powered harbor tug built and operated in the US, eWolf will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the port area of San Diego. ABB electric propulsion system to sustain zero-emissions operations at the Port of San Diego supporting the port Maritime Clean Air Strategy.
Compared with a conventional tug, the vessel will eliminate 3,100 metric tons of CO2 178 tons of NOx , and 2.5 tons of diesel.

Good Folks! ─ who would have thought the simple propeller could be improved! ─ been the same general shape since the time of the Wright brothers first took to the skies ─ now, some incredible research from MIT of the toroidal shape ─ as the cost of moving products around the globe increases by sea and air, this innovation in propeller design could eventually be a game-changer - both in terms of energy saved plus the quieter operation etc. ... no one individual actually invented the screw propeller, it sort of (r)-evolved over time lol https://lnkd.in/ePxJZPJZ
... here's a thought Good Folks: could the same efficiencies be got from developing toroidal bladed wind farms so we could see an improvement over having those huge wind energy generators onshore now? ... anyone? ...
