🇳🇱 🚙 Via and ASML are launching an ambitious corporate mobility program to drive modal shift for the next years
With a workforce already exceeding 16,000 employees on their campus, ASML anticipates significant growth in the coming years. This expansion will exacerbate parking space constraints and increase pressure to reduce CO2 emissions and private vehicle usage. In response, ASML has developed an innovative and ambitious integrated mobility vision to provide sustainable transportation options, encouraging employees to move away from private vehicle use. To achieve this, they have partnered with Via to design and operate the new mobility service.

Some exciting changes on the horizon for Eindhoven 🇳🇱
The Eindhoven City Council has greenlit the expansion of Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) Cluster 2, marking a significant step forward for the region's high-quality manufacturing industry ⚙️
This is all thanks to flourishing collaboration between SDK Vastgoed, the municipality, and stakeholders.
The expansion promises to create a high-tech, eco-friendly working environment that blends cutting-edge tech with the elements. Even we want to set up camp there at this point 🙌
What’s even more exciting is the potential for ASML to expand at BIC, which could bring up to 20,000 new jobs to the region.
Economic growth is one benefit for sure, but reinforcing Eindhoven’s status as a global tech hub is the main goal here.
We can't wait to see what this does for the region and the opportunities it generates for the Netherlands as a whole.

During a recent visit to Munich's engineering marvels with the ADME (Advanced Design of Machine Elements) course at Politecnico di Milano, me and my colleagues Stefano Ceroni, Alessandro Gandin, Michele Zironi had the opportunity to extend our knowledge of engineering in an international environment.
🚀 I was struck by the sheer potential of engineering to revolutionize our world.
⚙️Gear Research Center (FZG) ⚙️
The FZG facility at TUM was a testament to the relentless pursuit of perfection in machine elements. Witnessing the meticulous attention to the durability and performance of gears and transmissions, I was inspired by the potential of these innovations to enhance the machinery that powers our daily lives.
🚛 MAN Truck & Bus SE 🚛
At MAN, the future of transportation unfolded before my eyes. The integration of electromobility and automation in heavy-duty trucks promises a cleaner, more efficient tomorrow. It was a powerful reminder of engineering's role in steering us towards a sustainable future. Their production facility was astonishing. Industry 4.0 concepts were fully applied leading to an efficent production cycle and full integration with the suppliers.
Their testing facilities for the assessment of the vehicle dynamics and transmission testing were impressive.
These experiences have not only broadened my understanding but also fueled my passion for engineering. They've shown me that with dedication and creativity, engineers can indeed push the boundaries of what's possible.
