All children, regardless of their family’s wealth, can benefit from being given responsibilities and involving them in the family's financial affairs. Depending upon age it could look like engaging children in household budgeting, saving for family goals, planning a family day out with a set budget, or even deciding which charity they want the family to support from a curated list. At the very least, talk about money at the (physical or metaphorical) dinner table. The key is to provide children with opportunities to actively participate and contribute, enabling them to develop a degree of financial knowledge and a sense of responsibility relating to money. #financialeducation #financialliteracy

What’s going to happen when you die? From a philosophical perspective, I’m not qualified to answer. But from a financial perspective here on Earth, I can. First, your family will bury you and grieve. Soon, they’ll start to feel the financial effects. They’re not receiving your income anymore, and the financial stress on your family is building. Starting a GoFundMe is an option, but publicly asking for financial help is hard and there’s no guarantee your family will receive what they need. How can we avoid that burden on your family? Take away their embarrassment to ask for charity? Provide what they will need financially in your absence? I know, it’s not a fun conversation. Neither is writing that GoFundMe page. But I’m here to help provide your family with that dignity. Ready? Let’s talk.

Day 2 – Understanding the Challenges in Your Community Do you know the struggles your community faces? Building stronger, more connected communities begins with identifying the challenges around us. You don’t have to start with grand gestures; sometimes, the smallest acts have the greatest impact. If loneliness is a common issue in your neighborhood, consider taking the first step by connecting with your neighbors. A simple conversation, a moment shared, or making someone feel seen and valued can go a long way toward easing feelings of isolation. In the journey of charity, awareness is essential. When we actively seek to understand the issues in our communities, we empower ourselves to make a real impact. Without a clear understanding of these challenges, there can be no meaningful action or change. #neighbourlynovember

A really important reminder here of the number 1 most important thing that charities can do on Election Day. You'll almost certainly be voting yourself. But make sure that your frontline staff, volunteers and service users vote too. Remind them how important it is, encourage them that their vote does indeed make a difference, and make sure they have all the flexibility and support they need to get to their polling station.
Charity Coach 🎯 Helping you turn charity challenges into do-gooding dreams 🚀 29 years of nonprofit know-how shared via practical 1:1 coaching, fun facilitation & workshops that work 💥
Seeing lots of posts reminding people to vote, which is great, but if your network’s anything like mine, they’re unlikely to forget. Charities are at the frontline of government policy, whether you're delivering it or picking up the pieces. Charity leaders tend to be politically engaged, or hold strong views, even if you have to bite your tongue as you tread the tightrope of impartiality. But what about your teams? Your volunteers? Your beneficiaries? Make it easy for them to vote today, whatever their views might be. Let colleagues know it’s OK to go offline to vote when it's quieter, or finish early so they have time. See if anyone needs a lift or needs help getting into the Polling Station. Advocate for anyone who may need help to understand their choices. You can't tell people who to vote for (sadly 🤣), but you can make it easier for people to vote.

I’ve always believed that where there’s enough for three, there’s room for four. This isn’t just a saying but a principle I live by, reflecting the importance of helping those less fortunate. Regardless of our success or financial challenges, as long as we have health and the ability to work, we can overcome anything. However, not everyone shares this privilege, and they need our support. That’s why my company donates 10% of its profits back to the community. This isn’t just about charity; it’s a genuine commitment to supporting causes and people who need our help. So, when you choose to work with us, part of the funds don’t just go to salaries, taxes, or equipment. A portion is reinvested in the community, helping those in need. It’s our way of giving back and doing good for those around us. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆. 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗗𝗠 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲.
