💷 The Rising Importance of Financial Wellbeing 💷 The start of a new year often brings financial challenges into sharper focus, and with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, financial wellbeing has never been more important. In HR, we often talk about mental and physical wellbeing, but how often do we prioritise financial wellbeing as part of the wider strategy? Money worries can be a leading cause of stress, affecting performance, engagement, and overall morale. This year, I’ve been reflecting on ways organisations can step up: Offering financial education and tools to help employees better manage their money. Providing access to salary advance schemes or exploring benefits like discount platforms. Training managers to signpost employees to financial support resources without stigma. I believe the key is creating a culture where it’s safe to talk about money concerns without judgement. This not only builds trust but also empowers teams to feel supported during difficult times.
