Toyota and Suzuki are two prominent players in Southern Africa’s automotive sector. Through their collaboration, the following models share the same platform: Toyota Starlet and Suzuki Baleno Toyota Rumion and Suzuki Ertiga Toyota Vitz and Suzuki Celerio Toyota Starlet Cross and Suzuki Fronx Toyota Urban Cruiser and Suzuki Vitara Brezza Namibia’s vehicle sales for August reveal that Toyota is outselling Suzuki, even though the vehicles are essentially identical. For example, 20 Toyota Starlets' were sold compared to no Suzuki Balenos', 49 Toyota Starlet Cross units were sold versus 19 Suzuki Fronx, and 14 Toyota Urban Cruisers were sold against just 1 Suzuki Grand Vitara. Toyota's stronger sales performance can be attributed to its solid reputation, extensive dealership network, and perception of higher quality. Other factors may include financing options, model availability, additional features, and the fact that many people are unaware of the Toyota-Suzuki partnership. #data #automotive #sales #trade #namibia

This is the sort of performance that makes you sit up and take notice. There’s no denying electric propulsion is superior to petrol power any day. The higher torque numbers and the availability of it at any rpm makes EV’s competitive especially in a straight line. I have long maintained that local EV dealers should take their cars to drag races because there’s no better advertisement than an unassuming commuter car decimating purpose built petrol powered race cars. But this, I have to admit, is overkill. The Hyundai ioniq 5 N is the performance version of the already quick standard Ioniq 5. Straight off the showroom floor the N version can do 0-100 in just over 3 seconds. The Evo takes over 4 seconds to do that in stock form. It is not hard to fettle the Evo to match or better the N’s performance figures but to achieve them reliably and consistently on the poor surface of katukurunda is a tall order. A top of the line Byd seal or an ioniq 5 may have given the Evo a fighting chance but the N simply walked all over it. Abans auto, Byd Lanka, United motors and Micro cars take note. This is where you can truly sell your EV’s Video courtesy of Premium Oil Store Colombo #ElectricVehicles #EVs #HyundaiIoniq5N #Katukurunda #DragRacing #SustainableMobility #FutureOfMobility #BYDLanka #MicroCars #AbansAuto #EVMarketing #SriLanka

Is the hype real? For many, the Hyundai Creta is a right of passage in their car ownership journey. To put a number to this, this facelifted model has already raked in 1 lakh bookings in just over three months. The hype aside, how does it stand against something like the Skoda Kushaq with its premium badge and focus on driver involvement? Or can you have most of what the Creta offers but in a far more efficient package with the Toyota Urban Cruisier Hyryder with its hybrid powertrain? Check out the link in the comments to know how it pans out. #hyundai #Skoda #Toyota #auto #cars ##carreview
