#CMEs #Events #Conferences #EducationalWorkshops #KnowledgeSessions Reading this post. Marketing Code is a must. Code must ensure that Conferences, Events move to Academic Institutions or Venues of the Trade and Industry Associations, Chambers of Commerce etc. Organising these events in 5 star hotels sgiukd be stopped first. Let Indutry bodies like CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM follow first this as they conduct all healthcare conferences, events in 5 star hotels. They have set the benchmarks in the country. Professional CMEs can be conducted on Medical colleges, Medical Association Halls , Hospital Conference Halls etc All other events, conferences should also be conducted in expos, trade fairs which are led by industry associations , can be held in Academic Institutions , association , chambers halls etc Professional CMEs, Knowledge Conferences , Marketing Events , Media Events are all different. All are run on sponsorships. All are into conferences , educational workshops but how they operate is totally different. Time to delink marketing events platforms, media companies from handling CMEs, Knowlege Sessions, Educational workshop , Conferences etc . It's all getting messed up. Code is a guidance document for organisers to follow. Code calls for implementation since it's mandatory. https://lnkd.in/gJ7Pn-2S

We're now accepting fellowship applications for our next cycle! With our fellowship, pharmacists learn to be experts in drug information and literature appraisal, as well as working at the intersection of pharmacy intelligence and AI. It's a great mix of innovation, tech, and pharmacy, and an amazing learning experience! What matters to us isn't so much your specific degrees or titles; we care mostly about you being the best at what you do, being able to work well on your own, and being excited about making something people want. Desired qualifications include: You have high standards and value hard work to achieve them. You have high clarity of thought at a system level but also sweat the details. You’ve made decisions that materially and quantifiably drove a previous project forward. You can show a high delta in circumstances and outcome; in your work, you do much better than most people in your shoes would do. You’re well rounded with good time management. You’re humble (we have antibodies to arrogance). Join our informational webinar to learn more, and reach out to me or Dylan if you have any questions. We look forward to reviewing you applications! #pharmacyfellowship #druginformation #healthtech #stayinformedwithinpharmd

𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬! Two weeks ago, some of our students had the possibility to participate in the Clinical Winter School organized by Synapse - Life Science Connect. Over the course of three intensive days, they dove deep into Denmark's clinical trial landscape, getting invaluable insights shared by industry leaders such as Novartis and Novo Nordisk. The students got firsthand knowledge that helped them understand how clinical trials work in detail throughout the entire value chain, from preclinical evidence to market access strategy. Some of the topics were the differences between public and private clinical trials, an extensive introduction to Good Clinical Practice or important ethical considerations and regulations needed for clinical trials. Our students didn't just sit back and listen during the event; they actively worked through real-life case studies. With guidance from the speakers and what they learned, they could analyze the cases and see how each choice matters in every phase of clinical trials. This hands-on learning not only made their knowledge stronger but also gave them practical skills they'll need for future work in clinical trials, like designing them. The experience at Synapse's Clinical Winter School Event was crucial for those interested in clinical trials. This opportunity was excellent to motivate students to relate their knowledge with the reality of clinical trials with the aim of making big changes in the industry and helping society. They also got advice on how to kick-start their careers in clinical trials, which will be of great help when they finish their studies. Thanks to this, our students are ready to make a difference in clinical research, and we are excited to see how far they come! #ClinicalTrials #ExtracurricularActivities #YoungProfessionals #Synapse

✨ Exciting News! ✨ We are just one day away from becoming certified EUPATI Fellows and stepping into our new roles as patient advocates! 🎉 This achievement represents a personal milestone for my colleague Maria Jose Ruiz Alvarez from ECRIN and me. It is also a great opportunity for ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) to elevate its mission of engaging patients more professionally in investigator-initiated clinical studies. 💡 Why this matters: As EUPATI Fellows, we will be equipped to incorporate the patient voice more effectively into clinical research, ensuring patient perspectives are integrated right from the start. This will not only enhance the quality of studies but also bring research outcomes closer to the real needs of patients. 🌱 A New Era for Investigator-Initiated Studies: By taking on these new roles, we aim to build stronger connections between researchers and patients, ensuring study designs are relevant, recruitment is enhanced, and results have a meaningful impact. This is a huge advantage for ECRIN (European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network) as a partner of EUPATI, making our clinical trials more patient-centred and impactful. We are thrilled to embark on this journey and take patient involvement to the next level! 🚀 #EUPATI #ECRIN #PatientAdvocacy #ClinicalResearch #InvestigatorInitiatedTrials #PatientEngagement #ResearchForPatients #NewBeginnings #HealthInnovation

We didn’t win but it is nice to still present what we’ve achieved. Our abstract was accepted as a poster at the New Zealand & Australian Rheumatology Association Scientific Meeting and we were able to present it last week in Christchurch. I wanted a 15 minute live presentation but unfortunately missed out again. Could be my writing skills but I also think it’s because we aren’t presenting research. Medical conferences are typically very evidenced based and innovation at times can take a backwards seat. Saying that, I’m glad Sarah Comensoli suggested we still present a poster. She did a great job and so did Love Dayne Kidlat for bringing it altogether. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved with BJC Connect (bjcconnect.com.au), our online platform for education and patient support that helps many of our patients with their conditions in between their routine clinical consultations. Our achievements to date: - 7300 members - +75 NPS (net promoter score) You’ll also see Robyn Yin and Belinda Prince lending their support. Often, we were forget to pat ourselves on the back. Actually, just writing that sentence makes me feel a little awkward. This post is good practice. It’s on my wellbeing list after “deep breathing” and “slowing down” 😅 Lastly, any tips for me when it comes to submitting conference abstracts, apart from “go do the research” or “go to non-clinical conferences”? 😁

Look for opportunities to collaborate on projects and initiatives that push your boundaries. 📌Why it matters: Success isn’t a solo journey. Surrounding yourself with the right people helps you stay grounded, sharpen your skills, and achieve more through teamwork and shared ideas. Powerful reminder by Dr. M. S. Louis ✅ Explore New Frontiers in Pharmacy: 📌Actionable Step: Dive into growing areas like digital health, personalized medicine, travel medicine, and AI in drug development. Seek out specialized training and hands-on experience in these fields. 📌Why it matters: These fields are shaping the future of healthcare, and pharmacists who lead in these areas will define the next era of patient care. ✨ We summarise the experience with Dr.Emmah Mburu's tagline: "To earn a seat at the table, start by showing up in rooms with tables!"
