🎃 Keeping Kiddos Safe According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, child pedestrian injuries are more likely to happen on Halloween than on any other night of the year. 🏥 At KIDZ, we staff pediatric emergency departments and see these types of injuries first hand. That's why we want to help prevent child pedestrian injuries on Halloween by sharing the 3 practical tips below. 1.    🔦 Kids should carry lighting like glow sticks or flashlights to help drivers see them. 2.    🛑 Kids should use the sidewalks and cross at marked intersections by looking both ways before crossing. 3.    👩👧 Kids under 12 should have an adult with them to help minimize the risk of crossing mid-street. 🚗 And drivers should be alert and slow down! Kids don’t normally dart back and forth across the streets but it’s common on Halloween night as they zip from house-to-house. #SafeHalloween #ParentTips #HalloweenTipsforParents
