NUVO Rubber Compounders’ Post

The rubber industry has a major role to play in sustainability. The waste management of natural and synthetic rubbers is challenging due to their durability and resistance to degradation. The most common method of rubber recycling is mechanical grinding, where rubber products are shredded into granules which can be used for a variety of products, including athletic tracks and playground surfaces. Another method is devulcanization, which reverts rubber back to its original state to be remoulded and reused in new products. Although there are numerous advances in recycling technologies and improved methods for repurposing used rubber, our approach at NUVO® is to ensure we minimise the need for waste management in the first place. How do we do this? By developing a product that lasts and has a long lifespan. Minimising energy consumption is at the forefront of all NUVO® developments, and our forklift tyres are no different. Through a reduction in rolling resistance of 12%, NUVO® have ensured that your carbon footprint will be reduced when using NUVO®Rhino tyres. #NUVO® #solidtyres #southafricanmanufacturing #NUVO®Rhino #NUVO®rubbercompounders #manufacturing #rubbercompounders
