Metals Australia Ltd reports significant progress on multiple fronts as it continues to advance its flagship Lac Carheil high-grade flake-#graphite project in Quebec to Pre-Feasibility Study status. Lac Carheil’s strategic value also stands to be significantly enhanced by Canadian Government moves to potentially impose tariffs on Chinese critical mineral imports. CEO, Paul Ferguson commented: “This progress comes as we wrap up our phase one field #exploration program at our Corvette River project in Canada, where we expect to receive assay results later this month, and the recent launch of aggressive exploration programs across our three Australian gold and critical minerals projects – Warrambie, Big Bell North and Warrego East. “Over the last couple of weeks, I have had the pleasure of engaging with a broad range of stakeholders in the development of Lac Carheil throughout Ontario and Quebec. The very clear message from those discussions is that our project is rapidly developing a profile as one of the best graphite projects advancing in North America today. “The work we committed to completing as part of our planned PFS is rapidly advancing. Comprehensive metallurgical test work for the PFS level flow sheet design of the planned 100,000 tonnes per annum concentrate plant is well progressed – as are the plant designs for the concentrate plant. We are very close to dispatching the bulk concentrate sample to Germany that will launch the downstream design phase of the project, on schedule. “While our recent endeavours have focused heavily on the engineering and scientific elements of design, we are cognizant of our need to engage broadly with stakeholders and communities to ensure we understand their concerns, identify solutions as we look to establish enduring partnerships with those communities and stakeholders.” Read full #ASX Announcement here: https://bit.ly/3B3sfJv #mls #asxnews

#ASXNews Abundant Spodumene Bearing Pegmatites Identified at Halo-Yuri Trinex Minerals Limited is pleased to announce that a highly successful initial field program at the Halo-Yuri #Lithium Project in the Northwest Territories, Canada has been completed. • Numerous spodumene-bearing pegmatite outcrops and boulders identified in the northern half of the Halo-Yuri Project presenting high-priority walk-up drill targets. • Three new Prospects identified, Kick, Jagged and Amber, that are up to 3 kilometres in strike length and at least 30m wide. • Additional claim staked on the eastern side of the project to surround the eastern extension of the Kick Prospect. • Preparation of a Land Use Permit Application is underway, to be submitted within the next month. Will D., Managing Director of #TX3, commented: “We initially aimed at ground-checking numerous areas for follow-up sampling, instead we discovered a new spodumene-bearing pegmatite field in the north of the project that presents walk up drill targets. The results have exceeded our expectations, and we are eager to share the assay results from the samples collected as soon as they become available.” See the full announcement: https://bit.ly/4cYHWPR #TrinexMinerals #MiningNews #ASX

Magnetite Mines Ltd (ASX:MGT) chair Jim McKerlie joins Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss the extension of the deadline for its 1 for 6 pro rata non-renounceable entitlement offer from July 12 to July 19. Two diamond holes were completed at Latitude 66 Limited’s K9 prospect, within the Kuusamo Schist Belt Project in Finland, for 236m with the first hole (L66K9DD010) intersecting significant widths of mineralisation including 22.4m @ 2.4g/t Au, 0.07% Co and 0.16% Cu from 44m. Within this broad intersection, multiple higher-grade intervals were returned including 9.5m @ 3.7g/t Au, 0.09 % Co & 0.24% Cu from 51m and 4.3m @ 3.2g/t Au and 0.09% Co from 44m. Primary copper sulphide mineralisation in copper-haematite breccias, which are indicative of a substantial primary #copper mineralising system, was identified at Stelar Metals' Baratta Project in South Australia. This copper discovery suggests Baratta is close to a source of a primary copper system and is considered highly prospective consistent with Sediment-hosted Stratabound Copper mineralisation analogous to the Central African Copper Belt. Anson Resources has discovered further extensive high-grade #gallium and #barium mineralisation in association with the #zinc, #lead, #copper and #silver mineralisation from historical soil and rock chip sampling programs at its Ajana Project in Western Australia. The #AjanaProject, which covers numerous zinc, lead, copper and silver prospects, has seen extensive work since the 1970s yet remains underexplored, including for critical metals such as gallium and barium. Historical rock chip and regolith samples from across the Ajana Project area have now returned high-grade gallium and barium, with assays of up to 390 g/t gallium. These results are associated with high-grade zinc mineralisation similar to that at the Ethel Maude Prospect.
