TIPM/MRANTI at the 26th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo! 🇨🇳🤝🇲🇾 Our Chief Ecosystem Officer, Safuan Zairi, recently attended the prestigious China Beijing International High-Tech Expo 2024, marking TIPM/MRANTI’s first participation in this globally recognised event. Here’s a glimpse of his insightful journey: 🌐 Day 1: Kicking off the expo, which has been running for 26 years and is now officially recognised by the Chinese Government as China’s premier High-Tech Expo, TIPM/MRANTI was honoured to represent MOSTI at the groundbreaking CHITECH 2024 component. This new addition to the expo underscores the importance of international collaboration in high-tech innovation. 🌐 Day 2: Engaging the crowd at our South East Asia booth, we secured a bonus interview with China News Service (CNS). The expo showcased amazing new technologies, from AI-driven Sinseh for Traditional Chinese Medicine to Autonomous Tractors, highlighting the innovation prowess of China’s R&D, tech agencies, GLCs, and SMEs. A key message conveyed was the need for Chinese tech companies to view Malaysian tech companies as collaborative partners in R&D. This collaboration is essential for mutual growth and innovation. 🌐 Day 3: We presented to and engaged with numerous Chinese companies and agencies. There is also potential for exploring partnerships in other BRICS countries through the organiser, MP Group. This participation paves the way for future collaborations, opening doors for Malaysian companies to access cutting-edge technologies and fostering a culture of innovation back home. By engaging with global leaders in technology, TIPM/MRANTI is ensuring that Malaysia stays at the forefront of technological advancements, ultimately benefiting our local industries and economy. Drawing over 18,000 industry professionals from the MEASA region, the event served as a nexus for innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking discourse. A Landmark Gathering; Co-located with Integrate Middle East, CABSAT 2024 highlighted the burgeoning Pro AV and media technology sectors, featuring 250 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors from 75 nations. Diverse pavilions from China, France, and Germany enriched the exhibition with cutting-edge innovations. Key Insights and Exhibitor Highlights; The SATExpo Summit was a highlight, with industry leaders like Jassem Nasser from Yahsat and Joakim Espeland from QuadSat sharing insights on satellite communications and AI integration. Exhibitors showcased advancements, from safety in rigging by Area Four Industries Middle East to display technology innovations by AET Display Limited. Personal Observations; CABSAT 2024 underscored the industry's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. Discussions on responsible space exploration and environmental impact highlighted the need for ethical innovation. Networking opportunities emphasized collaboration, essential for driving innovation and addressing sector challenges. Looking Ahead; CABSAT 2024's impact will extend beyond its three days, shaping the future of media, broadcast, and satellite industries. The event reaffirmed Dubai's status as a hub for technological innovation and collaboration. Reflecting on the experience, I'm optimistic about the industry's trajectory and the innovations showcased. Conclusion; Attending CABSAT 2024 provided profound insights into media and technology. (How would they know?!)   When you’re walking down the aisles of a huge exhibition hall, you have just a few seconds to 1)       Understand what is being offered 2)       Get curious and stop   So, for the brands that don’t boast wide recognition it’s harmful to communicate on this level of abstraction.   Just SAY WHAT YOU DO! ___________________________________ Is it adding more tasks for your content team to consider? Do you want to know it? 👇   Madrid will be present from 5 to 7 November at the 2024 edition of Smart City Expo World Congress 2024. There, the main municipal technological actions and projects that are being implemented within the framework of the Digital Transformation Strategy of the Madrid City Council, ‘Madrid, Digital Capital’, will be shared. It will do so in collaboration with the companies awarded the contracts being executed, through talks, round tables and technical demonstrations.
