"Parents, listen to your children We are the leaders of tomorrow. Try to pay our school fees, And give us the best education..." The lines of this song resounded in our ears daily as primary school pupils marching into our classes from the assembly ground, with black shoes and white socks that gleamed in the daylight. Today, we're no longer in primary school, and one just wonders...how long until we become leaders? Ideally, we grow and develop true leadership capacity before we ever get into official leadership appointments. And one of the core tenets of successful leadership is #sustainability - living and managing the resources we have today in such a way that we do not impair the ability of tomorrow's people to meet their own needs. After all, the only unlimited resource is the air we breathe. Nigeria would become a truly prosperous nation if we, as [potential] leaders, put others first and consider that leadership is about serving the needs of others to ensure continuity. Then, by the time we officially become leaders, it would not be so difficult to propagate progress and bring the Nigeria of our dreams into reality - because there would be many of us that think alike and therefore flock together into those positions. Start thinking like a sustainable leader - less of yourself and more about others. The future will thank you. Are you working on this? #Change #Nigeria #Growth

Results in Leadership is a function of a well thought out and actionable strategy. It also requires discipline, love for the people we lead; but bigger still is the picture of the end desired. Nigeria has a lot to learn from Indian in terms of creation of a national strategy that cannot be affected by political party coloration- If a successive government will build layer upon layers on an effective National growth policy, Nigeria will be out of the woods in 10 years or less. This can only be done by sincere leaders who love and work for a Nigeria that works. #MakeNigeriagreatagain #Nigeriaprojectcanwork #Thoughtfulandhonestleadership

According to President Tinubu, “The good life Nigerians were living before his administration was fake and capable of collapsing the country.” This statement raises important questions about the difference between short-term comfort and long-term sustainability. While it’s difficult to hear, it challenges us to reflect Leadership is never easy, especially when it involves making decisions that may not be popular but are necessary. How can a president of Nigeria insult us like this . Nigerians are dawn for ,doom under this president Bola Tinubu , why is he calling us fake ?? #Leadership #NationBuilding #ToughDecisions #Sustainability

The abnormality we lament over in our society as touching today's leadership can only be corrected when we: 1. Intentionally begin to redefine leadership at the grassroots. We may not be able to do so much about our current leaders. What about those who will lead us tomorrow? Can we begin to teach the younger minds what true leadership is and give them the opportunity and environment to put it to work? ...be it at home, in church or mosque, in the school etc This is one area Ojini Marvel International Leadership Academy is passionate about. 2. Decide on what we want as a nation. As long as we treat matters of national concern as second fiddle, we won't get the desired change. Nigeria is too big a country to be in one man's pocket, sadly it looks like the reverse is the case. They have found a loose strip, a pothole, a loophole and they have kept using that old trick to decompress the nation into pocketable sizes. How? By dividing us amongst religious and tribal lines. This card has worked over the years and is still working. We bear the pains of a failed administration as one family, helping each other survive. ...only for us to now be identified by our states of origin whenever it is time to cast our votes. 3. Refuse to remain APOLITICAL. The bad would remain until the good rises up. INDIFFERENCE ATTITUDE to matters that concern governance has to stop. It hasn't helped. It is not helping us. It won't still help us. We all cannot sit on those seats, yes. That's true. But, we all have a role or two to play to make the dream of a Greater Nigeria become a reality. Don't just sit on the fence and throw stones. Be part of the process. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 #leadership #personaldevelopment #motivation #purpose #leaders #growth #NationBuilding #africa
