Access to Justice must be a Right, Not a Privilege ⚖️ For survivors of gender-based violence, the journey of fighting for their rights is both courageous and challenging. It’s a path filled with obstacles—emotional, social, and financial. At NyaayDarshak, we believe that no one should have to walk this road alone, and no one should be denied justice simply because they cannot afford it. Therefore, we provide essential legal support to survivors, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to stand up against abuse. But we can’t do this alone. Your donation can make a real difference. By contributing, you help us provide free legal aid, counseling, and support services to those who need it most. Every contribution, big or small, empowers a survivor to stand up for their rights. Our survivors are individuals who may not have the means to hire expensive lawyers, but that doesn’t mean they should be denied the legal support they deserve. Justice shouldn’t be a privilege reserved for a few; it should be accessible to all. We believe that until every survivor can fight for their rights, none of us are truly free from the cycle of violence. Join us in ensuring that justice is within everyone's reach. Donate today and be a part of the change. Link: https://lnkd.in/g5AwVeVY #JusticeForAll #SupportSurvivors #EndGenderViolence #DonateNow

Have you thought about fundraising for MK Act? Support the Last Resort Fund: Help Us Reach Our Goal of £5,000 a Month Over the past year, we have supported over 2,000 victim-survivors of domestic abuse in Milton Keynes. Each individual's journey and needs are unique, and the Last Resort Fund has been crucial in providing tailored assistance. Here are a few ways the fund has recently made a difference: 🟢Dental Work: Covered the cost of dental treatment for a victim-survivor after an assault. 🟢Transportation: Provided funds for safe transportation to a refuge. 🟢Housing Essentials: Helped a family with essentials as they moved into a new home. To continue meeting the growing demand for our services, we aim to raise £5,000 each month. Your support can help us ensure that survivors of domestic abuse receive the immediate and practical assistance they need. How You Can Help: 🟢Donate: Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. 🟢Spread the Word: Share our mission with your network. 🟢Volunteer: Get involved and help us make a lasting impact. I'm passionate about supporting victims of domestic violence and have identified a critical gap where people are left without guidance on how to legally protect themselves or counteract their abusers. This is why I've developed Domestic Violence Statute Matcher, an AI-driven platform providing anonymous access to legal resources. I'm currently seeking $600 to apply for 501(c)(3) status to make Statute Matcher a tax-exempt nonprofit, enabling us to serve more effectively. Your donation will be tax-deductible. Every hour that passes without support, families are at risk, and cases fall through the cracks. Can I count on your help? Please reach out if you're interested in making a meaningful impact. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ #NNEDV #MNADV #DomesticViolenceSpeech #DomesticViolenceConference #domesticviolence #domesticabuseawareness #DomesticViolenceAwareness #domesticviolencesurvivor #narcissisticabuse #narcissisticabuserecovery #narcissist #narcissisticparent #narcissisticrelationship #familylaw #divorcesupport #JusticeSystem #ResilientAF #DVAdvocate #DVAdvocacy

Why we are fundraising? Did you know that 1 in 4 women over the age of 16-years-old will experience domestic abuse at some point in their life? With at least 1 woman killed a fortnight by a current or ex-partner, it's hiding in plain sight. We all have the power to help make change. This is why we are taking on the Women's Aid Step Forward for Survivors Challenge to raise vital funds for survivors and help break the stigma of domestic abuse. We have made the commitment to move 60 miles throughout the month, which is an equivalent of 2 miles a day. The life-saving specialist support services offered at Women's Aid can be the difference between women and children staying or finding safety. How can your donation make a difference? £10 could fund a life-changing conversation between a professional Women's Aid support worker and a survivor of domestic abuse. Women's Aid wants to be there for every woman and child who needs them. I want to help end domestic abuse for good. With your support and donations, we can make it happen. Last night I attended an event raising awareness for Zonta house homeless shelter for women victims of domestic violence in conjunction with the VIP opening of Stax in Karrinyup shopping centre. We were requested to donate necessities in return for a gifted outfit. I compiled a donation bag filled with needs and wants. There is nothing harder than a mother escaping domestic violence. Be it on any level from physical, parental, emotional, financial, or even system abuse. There are many times when the perpetrator not only takes control of their life but also their finances, which leads them to not be able to provide fully for their child nor to defend themselves properly in court. This happens more than you know. So if you see a mother who is without food and money, anything for survival, if you see a fundraising page for a mother pleading to get her children back, I can almost assure you, this mother has done absolutely nothing wrong. Rather, her life is being controlled, and she’s nearly desperate to try and free herself and her children. Zonta House is doing phenomenal things, and I urge each and every one of you to donate something. Go check out the new Stax store, opens to the public today! #zontahouse #stax #karrinyupshoppingcentre #lidiakukulj #domeaticviolence #coercivecontrol #SystemAbuse #parentalalienation #financialabuse #postseparationabuse #economicabuse #emotionalabuse

🎥 "It Could Happen to You" – A powerful reminder from Bill Bastuk, Policy Director at the Deskovic Foundation, of the devastating stigma and personal cost of being wrongfully accused of a crime. His story, and countless others, drive our relentless advocacy for justice. 🚨 The Problem: Flawed investigations, bias, and systemic failures leave too many wrongfully accused, convicted, and incarcerated—destroying lives and families. 🌍 Our Mission: To create a world where fairness and truth reign in the criminal justice system. Where investigations are thorough, ethical, and transparent. Where justice truly serves and protects. 💪 How You Can Help: This holiday season, we need your support to expand our team of lawyers, administrators, and investigators. We're aiming to raise $10,000 by the end of 2024—and thanks to a generous supporter, all donations of $100 or more will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to that goal. Together, we can make a difference. Your gift fuels the fight for justice and gives hope to those who need it most. If I would have seen a healthy relationship with a man, I may have known mine wasn't. I couldn't find what I had never seen. Now I know where unhealthy started for me: regular arguments, only spending time with him, trust issues, avoiding conversations important to me, negative comments about every choice I made, ignoring my boundaries and crossing them at will. If you are young and this is your world, you are an easier target for an abusive partner, trafficker, or boyfriend. Find a trusted support person and learn another path. #wellactually -- To continue to support us and enact change, make a tax-receiptable donation using our secure link: https://lnkd.in/dYJQ3h2u #ProjectMapleLeaf #CourageForFreedom #EradicateChallenge #Preventionbeforeintervention #StopHumanTrafficking #HumanRights #ChildRights #FightHumanTrafficking #AntiHumanTrafficking #EndHumanTrafficking #protectchildren #womensrights #ProjectINterclusion #humantrafficking #humantraffickingawareness #antitrafficking #antisextrafficking #endchildtrafficking #fighthumantrafficking

Let's change the narrative on sexual assault, together. These stark statistics underscore the urgent need for change and support: - 1 in 4 women have been raped or sexually assaulted in their adult life. - 1 in 18 men have experienced the same trauma. - In the year ending September 2023, 68,387 rapes were recorded by police, yet only 2.4% resulted in charges. - 1 in 2 rapes against women are committed by a partner or ex-partner. - 6 in 7 rapes against women are perpetrated by someone they know. - 6.5 million women in England and Wales have been raped or sexually assaulted since the age of 16. - 1 in 2 adult survivors of rape have endured this horrific experience more than once. The trauma of sexual assault casts a long shadow, making daily life a struggle for many survivors. Reporting such a deeply personal crime is a daunting decision, and survivors need all the support they can get. Outcry Witness offers a lifeline - a safe, anonymous space for survivors to document their experiences at their own pace. This empowers them with the choice to report to the police whenever they feel ready. We need your help to continue providing this crucial service. Our goal is to raise £10,000 to support all who need us. Join us in supporting survivors and making a difference.
