This video is a few minutes long, but watching it to the end is worth your time. Whether you are a teacher, an instructor or a mentor, we all can make a meaningful positive impact in somebody’s life. I know that many of our instructors at the NAPE Educational Foundation are doing exactly that for their students. I see this progress from a different perspective than most because I see the students’ progress through their educational history & their professional advancement through their senior managers. I may not be compensated as high as I used to be, but the overwhelming feeling of accomplishment by being part of an organization that helps it’s students acquire knowledge is well worth the monetary sacrifice. The students’ knowledge leads to experience, which leads to advancement in our industry. The advancement offers a higher income which supports their families, affording their “loved ones” opportunities most of them never had in life. This perpetual circle of success can have a major positive impact in their families for generations to come. I have found that the older I get, legacy is worth much more than money. You can’t take your wealth with you, but the success of educating others can make an impact for centuries, well beyond our lifetime. Enjoy the video…
