I almost removed myself from my business 👌 This is why it matters: To grow Findymail , I need to work ON the business and not IN the business. I'm at a stage now where I need to take a step-back to have a clear picture of the strategic moves we need to do. When I started entering 5 figures per month, the 1st thing I did was to hire an assistant to handle time consuming tasks and helping me on customer support. Ever since, I pretty much hired someone new every 2 to 3 months. I started as a solo founder, we're now 7 (soon 8? we're hiring! 👀) in the team. Removing myself from the business also helps me raise the valuation of my company. People don't buy businesses that live without the founder. So I'm also creating value for my future self here. ---- Question: what steps are you taking to work ON the business and not IN the business. Activate the bell for more content like this 🔔 PS: I'm recruiting for a Sales Engineer full remote (Europe) - you can check the job offer on Findymail's company page!

Start with honesty! Real connections begin with being upfront about who you are and why you’re reaching out. Transparency is respect.
Hey kids...if you are a sales professional doing outbounding on LinkedIn, but you set your job title to something like "AWS Solutions Architect" or "Software Engineering"...how exactly do you think it serves you to try and deceive people into connecting or responding to you? Answer: it does not serve you. Knock it off. 😠

We can't keep up. IntelliHost has created a new offer that is EXTREMELY easy to market, and as a result, we cannot grow our sales team fast enough. We've had to cut ad spend again and again because our current sales guys calendars keep filling up too quickly (from $200/day to $100/day to $50/day). It's an amazing problem to have and I'm not complaining, however, it means we need more killers to join our team and sign all these people up (and so I can start spending reasonably again) 😅 So if you, or anyone you know would like to join a quickly growing tech company in Utah (in-person, full time, in Pleasant Grove is preferred) and are hungry to make some great commissions, then click the link I put below in the comments and fast apply! p.s. the head of this hiring process is Tyler Keith if you'd like to reach out to him additionally. ------------ To be clear, this is primarily a closer opportunity where we (marketing) fill your calendar during the day with video calls, and your job is to inform and close during those appointments (with some additional follow up following the yes responses and coordinating with the account management team). #hiring #sales #closing

📌 Attention all job seekers: You are amazing! THANK YOU for your patience and perseverance. Being on the job hunt is not easy. Getting through to Recruiters can be a challenge. Thank you for putting thought and effort into your messages. It really does go so so far! 💙 👀 If you haven't heard back from a Recruiter? Here are three possible reasons why: 1. They may not have seen your message yet. P.S. I appreciate a (kind) follow up message if it's been a week or so. 2. Your message might not have had a ton of context. Did you reach out and specifically say what position you're interested in AND why you'd be a good fit based on their JD? If not, you're making the Recruiter do the detective work, and they may or may not be willing to do that. (The worst messages have no context AND ask when you have time to chat... don't be this person) 3. They might not think your experience aligns with what their company is looking for, or maybe you're outside of a timezone they're hiring in. Quick tip for you: → When reaching out, lead with context and come prepared ready to standout and share why you're someone this company needs to consider. Keep at it! Believe in yourself. Your dream job can be 1 call away. About that dream job... 👋 We are hiring at Motion (Creative Analytics) 📌 Check out our new openings: (More details on our careers page btw) Customer Success: - CSM x2-3 (Europe & North America) - Platform Expert x2 (Europe & North America) - Customer Marketing Manager (North America) Sales: - AE x2 (Toronto area or Canada) - Sr SDR (Toronto area or Canada) - Partner Manager Marketing: - Creative Strategist Product: - Sr Product Manager (North America) Engineering: - Sr Product Engineer (full-stack) (Toronto area or Canada)

If specific experience in a particular software is a deal breaker for you in your hiring process, you're passing on a LOT of very qualified talent. 9 years ago, I was asked in an interview, "Do you have experience using Salesforce?" My answer was "No". But within 6 months I had completely reconfigured their Salesforce setup and improved its value for them by 10 fold. In my 20s, I taught myself how to rebuild my computer, format a hard drive, and install an operating system. I installed new hard drives, a CDR drive, a DVD-ROM drive, RAM, a new video card and a new sound card. Then I taught myself how to record and edit audio using Acid Pro and Cool Edit (before learning big kid DAWs later). In the midst of that, I worked at 4 call centers throughout my 20's having to learn and master new software at every single role. One of those roles was tech support for America Online where I explained to people...how to use software properly. I also guided people with zero user experience through complicated troubleshooting measures to fix their software when it was acting up. So next time you're posting a job - by all means ask for experience in your systems but if you're hiring for a Director role please stop REQUIRING 5+ years experience of some random help desk software when the fact is I'd probably be mastering and rebuilding it within a few months. You're isolating your most qualified candidates. 🤷♂️ #Jobs #Hiring #Software #Qualifications #Operations

I despise ticket sales companies. Their business model/allowance or collusion with ticket scalpers is repugnant. On a lighter note, we're hiring and *standard post*, it's nearly the Bank Holiday weekend 😎 🤘 We have a number of new jobs that I have very uncreatively listed below. Manager, Technical Consultancy and Solution Architecture, Customer Support Advisor - Danish speaking Customer Support Advisor - Finnish speaking Customer Support Advisor - Sweden speaking Sales Engineer - German speaking Web & Digital Experience Manager I have shared the link to the careers page in the description below. You know how to apply and how to share with if you're not right for it. GO! Finally, the information I am sure that you were all waiting for; what band was I trying to book tickets for? Well, I was searching for Nickelback tickets at the o2 but at about £175 for a standing ticket (of course not face value) I shall not be attending. I am of course ready for the barrage of messages courteously explaining that it is my own fault for liking Nickelback and that they are terrible but you are just wrong. Disclaimer - all views are my own on the subject of ticket sales companies 🤣 #heyheyiwannabearockstar #nickelback #hiring #quinyx
