This morning, the first edition of the Health Social Lab took place at the Department of Neuroscience in Padua, organized by Observa Science in Society as part of the HEREDITARY project. The session with patients provided valuable insights into the challenges of #medicalterminology in the doctor-patient interaction. As part of the ongoing work within the HEREDITARY project, we are developing a multilingual terminology resource aimed at bridging these communication gaps. This resource will help facilitate clearer interactions between healthcare professionals and patients, ultimately contributing to better healthcare outcomes and improving overall #healthliteracy.
