The absence of fundamental utilities on land designated for housing, coupled with significant planning delays, is severely hindering the construction of necessary homes. To meet the annual goal of 50,000 new residences, Ireland must recruit 120,000 additional skilled workers and retrain 164,000 existing ones by 2030, supporting the adoption of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
