Discover PurePalette™ in a stunning green hue, garment dyed on Positive Materials' hybrid long-sleeve turtleneck sweat. The garment was manufactured with a soft rib knitted with an extra-fine Australian Merino wool yarn with RWS, The Woolmark Company®, and Gold Cradle to Cradle certifications.   According to a life-cycle analysis, PurePalette™ significantly reduces the environmental impact of textiles. This was certainly a highlight in our journey, or mission to present modern merino wool to the masses. To help change the perception of wool from being an old school, heavy scratchy fibre to what it is today. An easy care, super soft stylish fabric. The reality is that we are selling and marketing the innovations over the last few decades made in transforming wool to what it is today. Thank you to the dedication in breeding genetics from Australian wool growers, to pioneers like Jimmy Jackson and believers and investors like Shen George who have provided me and TheMerinoPolo with a product that we believe has no peer for wearability and value. Exploring the Journey from Sheep to Sustainable textiles. Part 2: Spinning Wool into Fine Threads. Once the wool is brushed from any debris and smoothened, it's time to transform them into the fine threads used for weaving. Our skilled weaver employs traditional spinning techniques, using the spinning wheel as shown in the video below where the wool is then spinned into long fine threads.This is a very meticulous process which requires patience and precision, however it's therapeutic😇.This video shows the beautiful transformation of wool to thread.
