In our ⚡️ lightning ⚡️ fast industry of technology, with changes in everything from how we use the tools that make us more productive at home and in the office, to the underlying workflows that make businesses operate more efficiently while bringing value to customers, continuous learning and enablement has never been so important. -- This week various Confluent organizations came together in Santa Clara to connect, to generate energy, and to uniquely collaborate on the most creative ways to advocate to the market our endeavors in data innovation. #Elevate was a BRILLIANT gathering of peers and leaders, thinking through solutions to hard problems, including: 1️⃣ 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: an emerging design pattern based on data streams enriched in real-time to provide better quality data to down stream systems and consumers that are critical to how we do our jobs (shifting your data processing, left). 2️⃣ 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤: a stream processing engine that provides complex processing analytics over continuous data streams, while allowing connectivity to many of the different data stores, streaming systems, and search engines needed to make applications work well (managed Flink gives users a much less complex operational overhead and just makes it easier to use and deploy). 3️⃣ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Finally, we discussed best practices for helping teams and organizations connect. It is important not only to identify how we work together internally as one team but also to understand how to bring customer teams together to help organizations build problem-solving communities across their many talented cohorts of engineers and business leaders. ✨ We were also able to have fun, share personal stories, get advice on hard life challenges from the more experienced, and to connect as individuals.
