Do you think that property transactions are on the rise? Below are some numbers from BNM and NAPIC-JPPH. BNM “Credit growth to the private non-financial sector increased to 5.2% (4Q 2023: 4.8%). This was supported by higher growth in outstanding loans to both businesses (4.9%; 4Q 2023: 3.7%) and households (6.2%; 4Q 2023: 5.7%). For households, outstanding loan growth was higher across most loan purposes, reflecting continued demand for loans, particularly for the purchase of housing and cars.” NAPIC-JPPH Based on NAPIC’s latest release, the data appears to be in line with transaction volume quarter-over-quarter for the 1st quarter, which has grown 17.2% (“QoQ”), while transaction value QoQ has grown 34.3%. A large portion of these transactions consist of the residential sector. As practitioners, have you been on the receiving end of such an increase in transactions? #realestate #propertytransaction
