Hello digital community! Drago films is looking for compelling stories to tell. I believe that if we are going to change the trajectory of the world, we must start telling stories that matter. Stories that show all the diversity in the world. Stories that give a voice to the voiceless. Stories that bridge the divides that we see in society. Stories that are compelling. I believe the righteous and just must be as bold and brash as ignorance. We must be the change we need to see in the world. Evil and chaos will always try to find environments to flourish. We must rid the chaos of oxygen by embracing the light. If you want to make a difference in gun violence, stop watching movies that glorify guns. If you believe that the world needs to change get out there and do it, complacency got us to this moment in time and only action will solve it. So let’s find the stories that matter and get them out into the world and by doing so, change the perceptions of those who don’t see the importance of a diverse community and biosphere. 8 years in the making, RIP (Recovery in progress) is an experimental short film collection. To date, the shorts have screened at selected genre film festivals around the world and have picked up numerous awards. With the exception of Fried Barry, none of these have been released online as the intention was always to release them as an impactful collection. But recently #meowtoo has recently been released on Bloody BItes. Starring names such as Sean Cameron Michael, Former welterweight champion of the world John H Stracey, Graham Clarke and more.. EXPERIMENTAL FILMMAKING Personally, experimental filmmaking is a unique and powerful art form that allows us to be artists in the truest sense. The word “experimental” is all about trying something new and different...so different that, at first, it can cause confusion, or make the viewer feel uncomfortable. Some films revel in disorder or chaos, ideas colliding without enforced structure, others are milder and convey surreal imagery and/or visual metaphors. Many of these films are intended to be shocking and horrific, but all are open to a multitude of interpretations.
