Group photo with Srujana Guggilla and Venkatesh Veginati - Project 4 - "Measuring the Quantitative Impact of Patient Choice as an Empirical Validation of Values-Based Practice." They did a great job with the Master's Capstone project (ASDS 6306) but we forgot to take the group photo after their presentation last month. The work is ongoing and we are preparing for publication. Xinlei Wang #innovation #statistics #patientchoice #vbp #valuesbasedpractice

The JBI approach, backed by over 20 years of practice, shines as a proof of concept. Over 560 documented implementation projects attest to its efficacy, showcasing tangible shifts in healthcare practices across various settings globally. In the tapestry of implementation science, the JBI approach stands not as a rigid doctrine but a complementary guide. It bridges the gap between theory and practice, providing structure while seamlessly integrating with existing frameworks. At the APHL 2024 Annual Conference last week, Sarah Brumley, MHA, Client Success Manager, Director of Federal & Government Accounts, showcased our collaboration with APHL - Association of Public Health Laboratories. 👉🏼 Our poster highlighted how APHL successfully modernized the Public Health Lab Result (PLR) code system from concepts created and maintained via spreadsheet to a collaborative single source of truth managed in the Symedical terminology management environment. This involved converting to a SNOMED extension, establishing data governance for the authoring, and automating ongoing reconciliation, submission, and publishing of PLR concepts. Symedical enabled APHL to reconcile duplicate concepts, establish a federated authoring environment, and streamline the terminology management lifecycle. #APHL #APHL2024 #PublicHealth

Nice piece of thought leadership by John who is our President of Consulting @ Fortrea and a good friend. Systems thinking is an approach to problem-solving that emphasizes understanding the interconnectedness of all components in a system. This article delves into how applying this framework to clinical trial design enables the creation and application of new models that will improve experiences and outcomes.
