Making the time and investment to be at ACE is important to me personally and is part of growing Betty: AI-powered Knowledge Assistant in a key international market that I know, and love. Some quick takeaways: : CEOs who are members of AuSAE are actively seeking to register their staff and bring them to ACE. This needs to happen in greater numbers to help ACE be a ~400 person event and should be encouraged in every way possible. : CEO specific content on each day, and even CEO only social functions, will keep them engaged at their own level and working together on key issues affecting AuSAE and associations more broadly. : Let's get behind Joanne Phillips CAE Michelle Weston, CAE John Winter CAE GAICD and other CAE's to host CAE specific content (and fun) directly linked to the CAE domains and start relationships with new and prospective CAEs. Let's significantly boost candidate numbers and success rates for CAEs as this is the future of ACE as a national conference. I appreciated the attendance and feedback at my session: HARNESSING GENERATIVE AI TO ENHANCE KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND ENGAGEMENT. I am so happy that I pulled back on the presentation and left time for discussion and questions. I'm going to learn from that and do my presentations differently in future. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this conference as a student panelist. Academic integrity is a fundamental value that everyone in academia should strive to uphold. However, integrity is not limited to academic settings—it is essential in all aspects of life. The lack of integrity can have serious consequences in society, which is why we must always aspire to maintain it. Understanding that academic integrity is also a social issue was a truly eye-opening experience. Consider how you would feel if you discovered that your doctor had cheated on their exams or hired someone to take them on their behalf. Would you trust their skills and judgment? Likely not. This example illustrates the far-reaching impact that dishonesty can have. Let us commit to upholding integrity in everything we do, not just in academia, but in all areas of our lives.
