Wrapping Up Space Expo Europe: What an Incredible Event! ✨🌏
We had an amazing time at Space Expo Europe, showcasing the future of satellite connectivity with our world-first Inter-satellite Data Relay Service (IDRS).
At the event, we demonstrated how IDRS is revolutionising connectivity, command, and control for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. By enabling real-time, on-demand connections for any LEO satellite, our solution helps network operators maintain seamless communication and enhance satellite operations—critical for the rapidly expanding LEO and SmallSat sectors.
A big thank you to everyone who visited us at our booth (S52) and took the time to learn about IDRS. We're enabling continuous satellite connectivity 24/7, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in space operations.
The conversations, insights, and connections we made here were invaluable, and we’re more excited than ever about the future of space innovation.
If you missed us at the event, don’t worry email idrs@addvalue.com.sg to connect with us. We’re always excited to explore how we can take your space operations to the next level.

The future of satellite communications is multi-orbit and multi-layer to combine the best of both worlds. The flexible geostationary satellites are still attractive for many customers. European companies can cope with these challenges Herve DERREYThales Alenia Space
NewSpace Europe today! Great event in Luxembourg today, focusing on new space and included a session on Global connectivity in space and on earth. #Intelsat's Rhys Morgan was on a panel, alongside Damien Garot, Omar Qaise 🛰 , Nader Alagha and Mohammad Marashi, moderated by Marc Serres and talking about convergence of Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial networks for delivering services for variety of applications. Intelsat has been and remains invested in this hybrid future.
So is it time to come up with the concept of "3D connectivity" when talking about TN and NTN? (Literally the 2 terrestrial dimensions and the 3rd Dimension towards the skies and satellites? 😊). If it catches on, remember you heard about “3D connectivity” here first!
🛰 Step into our #timemachine | 60 Years of TNO Space Innovation: SmallCAT 🌟
In 2023, TNO achieved a major breakthrough with the successful launch of SmallCAT, a compact laser communication system aboard the Norwegian satellite NorSat-TD.
Despite its small size—just 10x10x10 cm—#SmallCAT established a laser link between space and the ground station in The Hague. This innovation showcases the potential for more efficient and secure satellite communications.

On the 12th November 2024 we celebrate four years of our world’s first on-demand, real-time connection for LEO satellites. Our product has been battle-tested in space and the results speak for themselves.
From improving satellite communication efficiency with simple “plug and play” COTS functionality, to reducing operational costs for our customers, we’ve built a product that powers mission-critical systems in space and on Earth. Our technology is reliable, scalable, and industry-leading, as well as proven in the most challenging environments.
As pioneers in this space, we're not just a part of the industry’s future - we're driving it. And the best part? We're just getting started.
Curious about how our product is performing? 💡 Technical #Breakthrough!
Aerospacelab successfully closed the link between its VSP-150 #satellite, Gregoire, and its optical ground-station (OGS) in Louvain-la-Neuve. 📡
Receiving optical signals from our satellites is key for demonstrating Aerospacelab’s free optical #space communication (FSOC) capabilities. This opens the door to high-speed and secure data transfers from space to ground but also in-orbit. 🛰
✔ The team can now prove similar links with its other satellites.
✔ Aerospacelab is one of the few companies in the world to demonstrate this capability with both fully in-house designed optical space and ground segments.
✔ This milestone also showcases the agility and performance of the VSP-150 satellite platform.
✔ This link closure is the first step in the development of our FSOC technologies, enabling more features to be tested soon, both in orbit and on ground.
Check out this video from our sky-wide camera picking up the satellite signal. 📽

We are interested in hearing from industrial players who are capable of either
- Design and Develop a dedicated EGNOS GEO Satellite (platform + SBAS payload), launch it, and provide ground segment and satellite operations as service
or
- Host the EGNOS GEO-5 SBAS Payload on board one of their satellites due to launch in the upcoming years.

Space commercialization is not new!
Since the 1960s, telecommunication satellites have been the most profitable space activity.
The idea that its new plays done the efforts of developing countries, since the 90s to understand and better safeguard their rights to “space benefit”!
The space benefit benefit agenda item was one such effort….
We still haven’t come to a test of “effectiveness”? Perhaps that’s about evaluation, monitoring and assessment of supposed “cooperation”! https://lnkd.in/ggyEzbyJ
To quit is not an option
