Field Operations Engineer 🖤💀⚙️ Tonina Dolphin or Inia geoffrensis 🐬 It is a type of freshwater dolphin typical of the American continent, especially the Amazon and Orinoco rivers. It is also called the pink dolphin and the buffalo. The dolphin is the largest freshwater cetacean, as it can measure up to 2.8 meters and weigh approximately 180 kilos. Dolphins are carnivorous, they feed on different types of small fish. They live on average between 30 and 40 years. The tone of their skin is actually varied. During the first years it has a grayish color until reaching adulthood, when it can change to its characteristic light pink color. It has more than 100 teeth and eyes that adapt perfectly to dark water. The proboscis is quite prominent and its function is to channel the waves that the tonins themselves produce in order to recognize the area where they are located. A great coincidence of life 🫶 - What animals have they encountered throughout their careers? 🔥 I read you friends! ☕ #oilgas #wellservices #professionalexperiences #engineering #ecuador #petroleumengineer #wellintervention #engineer #work #moments #worksafe #workhard #IADC #IWCF #PetroleumServices

BACKYARD DRILLING In looking at the image, Backyard Drilling it is easy to see why the name fits. The stories of those who have been here and kept large pieces of land are numerous. As the city and the oil industry keep moving in closer. Where there were once open fields and pasture, the wide open spaces have grown few and far between. The spaces now, so small and filled to the brim with new businesses, homes, and more drilling. There is an ever-growing need for every service and luxury that bigger cities have. That has come right on the heels of the massive move to the once quiet town. West Texas, is home to many small towns that are meeting the same demands and the same growth. Part of the charm of the place is that even today the old way of life clings on to the ideas of the past. They continue to carry the old mindset, treat people like you want them to treat you. Also doing the best you can with what you have still rings true. Another wonderful quality about the old ways is to greet your neighbor. To give them a friendly wave, to say hello, to shake hands, and to smile. If you have moved to West Texas, the friendliest place on earth. You might realize what you don’t see in the picture is the smiling native saying “Howdy, Welcome neighbor”. I guess there are a few simple rules to know if you are going to be in my Backyard Drilling. www.bobcallender.com #oilfieldphotography #oilandgasindustry #oilfield #oilfieldservices #oilpatch #bobcallender #roughneck #driller #energystrong #permianbasin #pumpjack #pumpingunit #oilindustry #petroleum #westtexas #fineartphotography #officespace

The Hidden Oil Rigs of L.A. Before Los Angeles was known for making movies, it was known for making something else; oil. Believe it or not, L.A. used to be a small seaside town until the late 1800's. In 1892, Edward L. Doheny discovered the first successful oil well near present-day Dodger Stadium. The Los Angeles Oil Field became California's top producing oil field and in 1901, there were 200 separate oil companies active there. Over time though, the city was being built on top of these oil fields. While Los Angeles doesn't look like the oil giant it once was, there are still a number of active drill sites all over the city. These oil rigs are hidden in plain view on high school campuses, attached to shopping malls, and located inside buildings that otherwise look like regular office buildings. #Oilfield #LA #Global_Petroluim #Information

🌍 Protecting Birds with ROTAMARKA: A Sustainable Solution for Safer Skies 🦅 Bird collisions with power lines are a major threat to wildlife, particularly large birds and migratory species. ROTAMARKA offers an innovative solution to this growing problem. With its large, rotating, brightly colored fins, ROTAMARKA makes power lines highly visible to birds, helping them avoid dangerous collisions. By reducing bird strikes, we're not only protecting these magnificent creatures but also supporting critical conservation efforts. At ROTAMARKA, we believe in a future where technology and nature can coexist. Our markers are designed to save lives—both human and avian—while reducing damage to infrastructure. Together, we can make a real impact on wildlife protection and safety. Join us in creating safer skies for all. 🌿 https://lnkd.in/f9MwpMF #BirdConservation #WildlifeProtection #AviationSafety #SustainableTech #PowerLineMarkers #MigratoryBirds #SaferSkies #EcoFriendlySolutions #WildlifeAwareness #ROTAMARKA #EnvironmentalProtection #ProtectNature #AerialSafety
