Recently, I finished up an on-site commissioning project and I stayed at Courtyard by #Marriott. The #audiovisual project was a success and the hotel stay was pleasant too. At the back of the hotel, there was a fire pit. A great way to wind down. One night while listening to the crickets. Several other hotel guess joined me. Someone started the question of asking what you do, and we went around the pit answering. There was a traveling nurse, an architect, a technician working for Walmart and several other professionals. But there was one thing that everyone had in common. Everybody worked 100% remotely. 🚨𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓫𝓮 𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓾𝓽𝓮 𝓸𝓻 𝓻𝓮𝓵𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓮 - No ❓ Embracing this remote way of working opens up endless opportunities and flexibility. HOW DO YOU STAY MOTIVATED DURING LONG RECORDING SESSIONS? Hey fellow voice-over artists and friends! I wanted to share a personal story and ask for your input. I recall one of my first long recording sessions, where I had to voice a long corporate video. I was excited, but also nervous. As the hours went by, my energy started to dip, and my voice began to feel strained. But then I remembered a tip from a seasoned voice-over artist: "Take care of your voice, and it will take care of you." So, I took regular breaks, hydrated, and did some quick vocal exercises.
