🌟 How to Get Your HRDCorp Trainer Accreditation 🌟 I've received several DMs asking about the HRDCorp Trainer Accreditation Certificate process. Here’s a bit about my journey and how you can get accredited after completing your Train the Trainer session. A bit of background: I was a Process Safety Trainer at Shell Malaysia Upstream before and never thought about getting accredited. Being a trainer on top of my daily deliverables was something I liked doing. It wasn't until a colleague turned friend, Nik Akmal Nik Othman highlighted the process and inspired me to pursue it. In my current role re-engineering the Learning and Development portfolio, getting accredited made perfect sense. 📝 The Application Process: To apply for the accreditation, you'll need to submit the following four items via the accreditation link: 1. Course Outline/Structure: Provide an overview of the course, including time breakdowns, objectives, and methodology. 2. Slide Deck: A presentation that corresponds with the course outline and structure. 3. 2-Hour Training Video: A recording of you conducting the class. Provide a link to this video on the accreditation site. 4. Attendance Sheet & Feedback: Document participant attendance and their feedback on the training. ⏳ Timeline: The application process took about 2 months from start to final approval by the HRDCorp Center. It could take longer if there are additional questions, reviews, or an influx of requests for the accreditation. Once you receive your accreditation, it is valid for 3 years. 🎉 The Benefits: With this accreditation, I'm now a recognized trainer, able to provide trainings based on my areas of expertise. This formal recognition grants access to HRDCorp Funds and offers valuable networking opportunities within this vibrant ecosystem. 🌿 Online Training Session for "Greener Border Region" Projects Successfully Conducted! 🌿 On 11 July 2024, we held an enriching online training session for beneficiaries involved in projects under Priority 1 "Greener Border Region." Hosted on Webex, this session saw enthusiastic participation from representatives of all five projects that recently signed subsidy agreements. Our goal was to equip project representatives with crucial knowledge and skills for successful project execution. The session covered: 📌 Technical Implementation 📌 Reporting and Monitoring 📌 Project Closure 📌 Financial Reporting 📌 Public Procurements and Common Mistakes 📌 Irregularities 📌 JeMS System Usage 📌 Verification of Costs 📌 Information and Publicity Experts from the Joint Secretariat and the Directorate "Territorial Cooperation Management" at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works led the training. Their comprehensive presentations were instrumental in providing the tools and knowledge necessary for effective project management and implementation. We encouraged active engagement, ensuring participants had ample opportunities to ask questions and seek clarifications. Self-responsibility: a big word! 💪🏼   Last week, our Young Talents had the opportunity to take a closer look at the topic self-responsibility as part of a workshop. Together with Andrea Seeländer they spent the day laying the foundations for discovering, unfolding and developing their own potential. Young people take on a lot of responsibility when they start their vocational training. It’s not just the associated rights and obligations under employment law that suddenly play an important role. Mastering the subject matter, understanding the organization and successfully working together along the value chain also require responsible action. We specifically support our Young Talents in growing into their own responsibility and also provide them with the necessary tools. In this way, we support the development of them into reliable, competent and self-confident people.   The most important learnings for the Young Talents: - Self-responsibility is a great thing, it allows you to determine and shape your own life: What goal should be achieved, what resources are already available and what is still needed? - Goals can be formulated and achieved more easily using the SMART method 🎯 - Stumbling blocks can be avoided with good preparation when achieving goals   All in all, our Young Talents made wonderful use of the opportunity to work together as a team on the topic and gain a new perspective on their own responsibility and self-efficacy. „It is not only what we do, but also what we do not, for which we are accountable.“ - Molière #youngtalents #hse #selfresponsibility
