🌿 The Power of Slowing Down: Listening to Your Mind, Body, and Soul 🌿 In today’s world, where the pace of life feels like it’s always accelerating, it can be hard to remember the importance of slowing down. We’re constantly juggling responsibilities, chasing goals, and striving for success. But in the hustle, we often forget to check in with ourselves—to pause, breathe, and listen to the deeper signals our mind, body, and soul are sending. When was the last time you truly paused? It's crucial to listen not just to the demands of the world around you, but also to the whispers of your own mind, body, and soul. They have wisdom to offer—if we just take the time to tune in. 🌸 Here’s why slowing down is so powerful: 🧠 Mental Clarity: Giving yourself space to breathe clears mental clutter, enhances focus, and sparks creativity. ❤️ Physical Health: Your body is constantly communicating with you. Pay attention to signs of fatigue, tension, or stress, and give yourself the rest you need. ✨ Emotional Balance: Slowing down allows you to process emotions and thoughts without the pressure of constant movement. It fosters mindfulness, inner peace, and emotional resilience. 🌱 Soulful Connection: In moments of stillness, you connect with your true self. Your soul speaks when there's room for reflection, introspection, and growth. When we are in tune with our body’s needs, our mind’s rhythms, and our soul’s desires, we make better decisions, build deeper relationships, and lead a more fulfilling life—both personally and professionally. So, today, I challenge you to slow down. 🌸 Take a moment to check in with yourself. What does your mind and body need right now? Rest, movement, reflection, or maybe just a moment of quiet? Trust that by slowing down, you’re not falling behind—you’re actually moving closer to what matters most. #Mindfulness #SelfCare #PersonalGrowth #SlowDown #Balance #MentalHealth #Productivity #Wellness #Wellbeing #SoulCare

35,000 That’s approximately how many decisions we make in a day. A lot of these we do without even too much thought. And I’m not talking about the hundreds and thousands of instinctive decisions that the body takes for you like how fast to breathe when you need to eat or drink water or need the washroom. The 35000 decisions are the ones for which we use our MIND. Have you ever felt decision fatigue? Where sometimes you feel a sense of fatigue to even decide what to eat or what to wear. And you just wish somebody would decide for you. This is a sign of an underlying state of mental exhaustion. Remember, this underlying state can end up producing decisions that affect your personal life, and your work choices that impact others including your team, your company and the world at large. So, check in with yourself. And if you are feeling this way then it is time for a reset. A reset that doesn't always have to take you off to the mountains or on a vacation. Because that isn’t always possible. But resetting for even as little as a few minutes can have a powerful and calming effect. And when done multiple times in a day, it can produce an overall underlying effect of calm, stability and clarity to aid effective and focused decision making. Personally I really enjoy this 5-Step practice that @GK teaches at his mindfulness sessions. It’s super simple. You can check it out too: Step 1, Breath 1: Notice that you are breathing. Notice your breath. Step 2, Breath 2: Notice your body. Step 3, Breath 3: Take your awareness to your mind and gently observe its quality, without judgement (what kind of thoughts are present for you. Is the mind dull or spacious, busy or cluttered… just observing without feeling the need to change anything). Step 4, Breath 4: Take your awareness to your heart and notice the kind of emotions or feelings present for you. Step 5, Breath 5: Find one thing that you are extremely grateful for at this moment. I’d love to know if you have any tips or tricks that help you reset. And if you or your team would like to know more about different ways to overcome mental exhaustion and decision fatigue, pause…breathe…and reach out to me 🙂 #decisionmaking #mentalhealth #workplacewellbeing #mindfulnesstraining #llama

Lonely ? "To not be lonely, you must discover the strength within, and to discover that, you must be alone in your quest for inner strength." In our fast-paced world, it's easy to feel isolated despite being surrounded by people. The irony is that true connection often begins with a journey inward. When we take the time to explore our inner resilience, we not only find strength but also realize that we are all interconnected, part of one energy. As a professional in the health and wellness industry, I've seen firsthand how burnout and stress can create barriers between us and our true selves. The constant hustle can make us forget the importance of pausing, reflecting, and reconnecting with our inner core. This isn't just about avoiding burnout; it's about nurturing a deeper sense of well-being that transcends the physical and touches the spiritual. Our thought-constructed egos often create a sense of separation, breeding loneliness and disconnection. But when we embrace practices like yoga, mindfulness, and silent reflection, we begin to dissolve these barriers. We start to see that we are not alone in our struggles; we are part of a larger, interconnected community. In my journey, I've found that proactive wellness—combining modern health systems with ancient wisdom—can be a powerful antidote to the stresses of modern life. Whether it's through a yoga stretch with deep breathing, a moment of inner silence, or a joyful conversation, these practices help us reconnect with ourselves and, by extension, with others. Let's create a space where we can share our experiences, support each other, and grow together. If you've found solace in your own journey of inner exploration, I'd love to hear about it. How do you nurture your inner resilience? What practices help you stay connected to your true self? Please like this post if it resonates with you, leave a comment to share your thoughts, and feel free to repost if you think it might help someone in your network. #Wellness #Burnout #Resilience

It's easy to get caught up in things beyond our control. We stress over outcomes, dwell on others' opinions, and let external circumstances dictate our peace. But there's immense power in shifting our focus from what we can't control to what we can: our own actions, responses, and mindset. Letting go of what you can't control starts with recognizing the difference between what's within your power and what's not. You can't control the weather, other people's behavior, or the past. But you can control your reactions, your attitude, and how you choose to spend your time and energy. Here's how you can protect your energy and reclaim your power: 🛡️Set Boundaries: Establish clear limits with people and situations that drain your energy. It's okay to say no and prioritize your well-being. 🛡️Practice Mindfulness: Stay present and engage fully in the moment. Mindfulness helps you detach from unhelpful thoughts and reduces anxiety about the future. 🛡️Focus on Self-Care: Nourish your body, mind, and soul with activities that rejuvenate you. Whether it's exercise, reading, or spending time in nature, make time for what restores you. 🛡️Cultivate Gratitude: Shift your focus to what you have rather than what's missing. Gratitude can transform your outlook and attract positivity into your life. 🛡️Embrace Positive Relationships: Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you. Stay away from energy vampires. Remember, you have the power to choose where you direct your energy. This is how you start to embody the warrior that you are. I see you, you are doing your best. Give yourself breathing room. . . . . . #reclaimingyourcourage #leslielew #womanwarrior #gratitudeattitude #confidencecoach #womensselfdefense #asianamericanmentalhealth #mentalhealthwarrior

Feeling the weight of the week? Here’s how to release stress and reset your energy this weekend. 1. Energy shake off This is a quick, physical way to release built-up tension. Stand up, shake out your arms, legs, and shoulders.. your entire body! Visualize any unwanted stress or tension falling away as you shake it off. Sure, you might feel a bit silly for a few seconds, but would you rather feel silly or carry around that stress potentially for the rest of your life? 2. Go into nature Find a heavily treed park or forested area and take a walk with full presence. Leave your phone in the car or at least keep it silent and out of sight. As you walk, notice the colors, textures and sounds around you. Breathe in appreciation with each fresh breath and every moment you’re having. Eventually, find a spot where you can sit quietly. Again, NO PHONE. Just be. This is legit medicine for your mind and body. After spending 1–1.5 hours in nature’s depths, you’ll feel clear, energized and on top of the world. 3. Mind dump & reflect Grab a notebook and set a timer for 6 minutes. If you’re into it, play some 482Hz frequencies to support the session. Write nonstop for the entire 6 minutes - even if you don’t know what to say, just write “I don’t know what to write” until something else comes. This clears out mental clutter and gives you clarity mentally and emotionally. Afterward, take a few moments to reflect on what you’ve written. This reflection brings awareness to what needs attention and what you’re ready to release. Feeling good is your birthright. And it's in your hands to make it your reality. Start today by trying 1, or all 3, of these this weekend and see the difference. Which one will you start with? __ To learn how to align your energy with your goal, join my free email mini course, Energy 101 for High Performers: link in comments. #HighPerformance #EnergyAlignment #PeakPerformance #Mindfulness #PersonalGrowth #Leadership #WorkLifeBalance

Rise and Shine: The Magic of Morning Trails This morning's run reminded me why I've committed to this daily ritual for over a decade. As I reached the lookout point, the sky erupted in a breathtaking display of pinks and oranges, painting the world anew. But it's not just about the view. It's about: - Consistency: Showing up every day, rain or shine. - Personal growth: Pushing past comfort zones and discovering new strengths. - Mindfulness: Starting the day with clarity and purpose. - Nature's therapy: Embracing the outdoors to boost physical and mental wellbeing. Remember, success in any field - be it business, fitness, or personal development - starts with small, consistent steps. Your "mountain" might look different, but the principle remains the same: rise early, show up, and keep moving forward. What's your morning ritual that sets you up for success? Share below and let's inspire each other! #MorningMotivation #ConsistencyWins #PersonalDevelopment #WellnessJourney

When life hits turbulence, do you push harder or allow yourself to pause? Often, the latter makes all the difference. When life doesn’t go as you planned today. Remember this: You don’t have to be strong right now. You don't have to put on a brave face today. You don't need to power through, to keep it all together. Sometimes, strength is found in allowing ourselves to pause. To feel. To heal. What you need right now isn’t more pressure. What you need is some time. Some grace. And a little gentle care to ourselves. So, give yourself permission to: ↳ Breathe deeply. ↳ Reflect quietly. ↳ Tend to your soul’s needs. To feel, to pause, and to heal. To release, adapt and move on. Often it's not the Change that causes us all the angst. It's our refusal to accept it that do. My go-to mental fitness practices that help me find peace amidst chaos: ✨Loving-kindness meditation ✨Making a mental note of things that go well or acts of kindness ✨Going for a walk or run and letting nature recharge me ✨Visualization techniques for energy shift ✨Playing my favorite songs over & over again Any of the above usually takes me 10 minutes, And that 10 minutes is the 1% of my day, that makes the other 99% better. And you, How do you find peace in chaos? #rest #feel #heal #grow -------------------------------------------------------------------- 👋 Hi! I'm Catherine, Mental Fitness Coach for Change-makers & Corporate-preneurs. 🚀 I help you gain clarity & confidence for your second chapter & build a life that uplifts, not exhausts you.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Deadlines, responsibilities, and daily challenges can take a toll on our mental well-being. But what if we reframe how we approach life’s demands? Here are a few practices that have helped me work towards a stress-free life: 1️⃣ Prioritize and Simplify Not everything requires your immediate attention. Focus on what truly matters and let go of the unnecessary. 2️⃣ Practice Mindfulness A few minutes of mindfulness or meditation daily can transform your outlook and help you stay grounded. 3️⃣ Set Boundaries Learn to say "no" when needed. Protect your personal time to recharge and reconnect with yourself. 4️⃣ Embrace Imperfection Life isn't about being perfect; it's about progress. Celebrate small wins and learn from setbacks. 5️⃣ Move Your Body Exercise, even a short walk, releases endorphins and clears your mind. 6️⃣ Connect With Loved Ones A quick call, a heartfelt conversation, or even sharing a laugh can reduce stress significantly. Remember, a stress-free life doesn’t mean an obstacle-free life; it means finding calm in the chaos. What works for you? 🌿 Signs of Progress: Mind, Body, Spirit, and Beyond 🌿 Progress isn’t just about the numbers on the scale or the tasks crossed off your list. True growth is reflected in the mental, environmental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of your life. As you work toward your health and wellness goals, pay attention to the subtle evidence of progress that shows up in every area of your being. 🔄 How to Recognize Progress Holistically: 1️⃣ Mental Clarity – Progress shows up in the way your mind feels. Are your thoughts clearer? Do you experience less mental fog? Maybe you find it easier to make decisions or feel less overwhelmed. A clearer mind is a sign that your habits are working. 2️⃣ Environmental Shifts – Look around. Is your space cleaner, more organized, or more peaceful? Our environment is a reflection of our inner state. A calmer, more balanced living or working space can signal that you’re aligning your life with your goals. 3️⃣ Emotional Balance – Progress can be felt in your emotional health. Are you more resilient when faced with stress? Do you notice less anxiety or are able to process emotions in a healthier way? Feeling grounded and emotionally balanced is a powerful sign of inner growth. 4️⃣ Physical Vitality – This is the most obvious, but it’s about more than just fitness. Are you sleeping better, moving with ease, or feeling energized throughout the day? Even small improvements in physical well-being show that you’re heading in the right direction. 5️⃣ Spiritual Connection – Do you feel more in tune with your purpose or inner peace? A deeper connection with your spiritual side—whether through meditation, mindfulness, or your faith—signals that you’re evolving in ways that go beyond the physical. ✨ Progress is about more than just checking off goals—it’s about feeling more aligned in every part of your life. Trust that each area of your well-being—mental, environmental, emotional, physical, and spiritual—reflects your efforts in unique ways. 🌱 #HolisticProgress #MindBodySpirit #EmotionalWellbeing #MentalClarity #PhysicalVitality #SpiritualGrowth #HealthJourney #BalanceAndGrowth
